We’ve tried to bring in Leavitt and also planned to make a run at Mensah before Miami went full desperation mode. Outside those two no one else is better than who we have on roster already. Pribula would’ve been able to compete with those two but that’s it.

It looks like we are after 1-2 more DL and 1 more CB. If we can get that we have pretty much filled the list. We are at 16 transfers now. We really revamped the defense and added some depth on the offense.

Doubtful to me that any of the QBs in the 2026 portal are good enough to make up for the positional gaps and overall inexperience with this Vols roster. Ride with the young pups, gain experience and build for sustainability (and pray that you keep enough guys in the future to have a chance for that strategy to work)

Depends on the trajectory. If GMAC has a huge year and is on track to be drafted after the 27 season, Faizon probably sticks around.

I'll hit a panic button when we've run through the room and no one gets the job done. Then there's a problem. Until then, iron sharpens iron so I hope all three are healthy and at their best all off-season pushing each other to be their best.

Staub wasn’t getting any sort of development at Colorado. Their QB situation last season was complete mess. Kaiden Salter transferred in from Liberty and got significantly worse and their 5 star QB JuJu Lewis didn’t look good either. I’m not saying I think Staub will be the starter here but I do think he’ll actually get developed by coaches who know what they’re doing.

Then the NCAA will have some scrambling to do and Tennessee will have a decision to make based on roster numbers. I'm not going to say the door is closed, but I also don't think Tennessee needs to be holding spaces for anyone they don't know for sure will be there. If the space is there, great. If not, the NCAA may find themselves having to create a window for these former JUCOs to find new homes.
