a day or two ago he was basically a lock to vols and a great pick up..... knows the Knowles system and could help jump start the process here. has to be better than what we have on campus.

maybe because we seem to be going after so many safeties and can't narrow down our targets. our process for the portal seems to be anything but a fine tuned machine so far.


i don't want any player that is scared of competing against our current players haha

It's a chaotic year due to all the coaching changes. That has forced schools to be in desperation mode. Not making excuses for any of it, but the added chaos is apparent at most major programs minus Indiana and Texas Tech.

See nothing new has changed today.

I do like seeing some additional DL going to the portal. The bama and Pitt transfers look like they could be good pickups. Would still love to land Gilliam, one (or both) of the DE’s, and Campbell.

Sounds like there are plenty of options in the secondary so not as concerned there, although that’s the biggest need.

Our coaches disagree. They see him as a rotational piece instead of a full time starter. He is going to a lower-level school because he wants to be at a school that can guarantee him a starting role. So our coaches don't see him in that light but yet it's a big deal that he ends up somewhere else? 🤷

Of course NC State and New Mexico St can guarantee him a starting spot…they suck! If kid is scared of competition, then we don’t want him. Starting spots are WIDE OPEN in our secondary. Come in and take a spot by competing!
