Perfect example of what the portal is. We all know he is average at best and sucked in most games. But look at his interest level because he's the best of mostly scraps and all those fan bases are probably full of people screaming "JUST PAY FOR HIM"

Heupel has shown the ability to coach up an offense regardless of the pieces he has. Considering we have two 5 star QBs, two 5 star receivers, a 1k yard RB returning, I think we will be fine on offense. Sure you add depth pieces and a RT, but I'd rather spend money on building up the defense.

I get talking like this about someone like Boo and others that are purely about money, but Telander is 100% VFL and gives it everything he's got. I'd rather Telander stick around and some of our fans back away from their keyboard.

He plays hard and he should have a spot on the team as long as he wants to be here but he shouldnt be a starting LB. If that is the plan going into the year no one should complain becsuse they know what they are going to get.

I believe the weight gain has slowed him down. He was quicker in HS.

I can't answer misinterpretations. Quantify "a bunch of money" and share source. We are top ten in NIL. Certain players are blowing the lid off of market value against analytics. We aren't scrambling in to spend too much on overvalued players and not fill our needs. The best portal performers of 2025 were not the teams that spent the most money. They are the teams that spent the most intelligently.

I see, we are looking to use the Indiana/Vandy model and avoid the Ole Miss/LSU model to maximize investments and stretch the dollars we've allocated for portal prospects.

And leveraging our recent success in increasing draft stock for players like Hood and McCoy to attract players that want to be here and might be willing to take less in lue of a better fit.
