2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I was mostly thinking a senior so we don’t potentially scare off DGG or Morris. I want DGG above EVERYONE.

If we have Bishop and SR, they both leave and Morris and DGG take over for them and if one of them isn’t ready, just portal.
We need 3 RBs that can actually play. Heupel has shown that over 5 years.

If we get a Sr. He and Bishop (I think) will be gone after 2026 season.

That leaves us with Morris and Baker.
Add DGG now we’re at minimum playing level of 3. But we real need 5 imo. Bishop, Thomas both got banged up some this year. Bishop held up better this year than last.

If get the Knight kid then we need to add another RB with DGG in 2027

The more I’ve gone back and watched his film, the more I think he’s the dude.
He may be. But there’s another guy more talented that hasn’t had the same level of success. And someone told me that he has spoken with Heupel and would love to get coached up.

Hold on to your butts!

I’m assuming you’re talking about Aidan Chiles just based from your post in the FF

Hard to believe much interest in a 5'9-ish QB who misses throws regularly. If he's 6'0 then Joey is 6'8.
Missing throws is fine if you can make up for it with your legs.

Lamar is the biggest example of that. I believe he had like a 58-59% completion in college.

He just ran for 1500+ yards lol

He just cant play
If you put that kids talent in DeSean Bishops body, you’re getting a RB that we haven’t seen since Jamal Lewis.

Not that Bishop Isn’t talented. He’s actually extremely underrated still. He’s a 4.5 benching close to 400 lbs. hes a beast. But Seldon is extremely physically gifted. 220 running a verfified 4.3 can catch.

Yeah but as I’ve said 100 times. Too much actually. He doesn’t have the heart for it. And that’s fine.

Eli Stowers. Veteran Oline.

And he is pretty damn good. That said...He really needs to study up on his insurance license.
Davis is poised for a breakout and our returning OL could be very good.

I’d prefer a few over Colandrea but he’s got the type of mobility I want to see in Heupel’s offense.

On QBs

Sorsby is really good. I understand others sentiment in needing to spend on defense, but if the boosters and donors don’t mind spending on Sorsby and upgrading the defense, then you absolutely go get him.

The home schedule next year is the best UT has ever seen, and the roster isn’t far off from competing for a playoff spot, whatsoever.
