It's a fair question! Assuming Kim's elite recruits will play over 20 minutes per game and be good shooters, what'll definitely help their WNBA draft prospects is knowing how to defend well. I can think of a few players in the W whose longevity related mostly to their smothering defense, it's an extremely valuable set of skills, and not super common among the elite scorers out there.If I were an elite (top 30) recruit, I would ask Coach Caldwell how I would become an AA and a high WNBA pick in her system?
Coach C will need to be able to answer that.
