2024 Presidential Race

You belong to the Cult of Trump since you keep all this knowledge of everything Trump has ever done in the back of your mind. As a matter of fact, I bet you have posters on the ceilings in every room of your house of Trump. Can't live w/out him.
I've never seen anybody on VN who posts so much knowledge of Trump & his every movement known to man.
Spoken like someone who would prefer that this forum be nothing but a right-wing echo chamber, and therefore, becomes resentful when other perspectives are presented.

I could easily be just as critical of your fixation with the Biden's.

Biden is the dumbest man ever to be POTUS is the only reason of my fixation. I don't record every bit of everyday life of Biden like the man-crush you have w/Trump. You remember every detail of Trump & what he said 10 years ago. Bless your heart. So fixated you are on Trump it's not healthy for a person. I bet you drink a pint bottle of Putin's finest vodka daily just to numb Trump's rent free living space in your empty head.

I feel the same way about Trump.

You post just as much about the Biden's as I do about Trump. Hell, you post twice as much as me, on anything. You have over 100K posts. I have only 40K .... and you have only been a member of VolNation for one more year than I have.

Bless your heart. So fixated you are on Trump it's not healthy for a person.
You are projecting.

Today's developments, along with his comments in recent days, really in my view illustrate the biggest problem with Trump, and that his insanely high level of arrogance (that he, and he alone, knows the best course) combined with his lack of understanding or even willingness to consider the complexities of these issues or the roles of others in addressing them.

By far, the greatest strength of our Republic is the separation of powers across multiple branches of government. Though often frustrating when we want to see action taken, the fact is that different people have expertise that others do not have, and Trump just won't accept that he a) doesn't always understand the full import of what he suggests; and b) there are guardrails in place precisely to prevent off-the-cuff, spur of the moment change.

For all the criticisms we all offer for career politicians, there is something to be said for recognizing the place that others have in the process and that you can't just knew jerk react to everything.

Well, just to be clear as I may be misunderstanding you on these points:

Is it your contention that the daughter-in-law of someone who has now run for POTUS three times has zero experience in politics? Campaigns she has participated in and had a front-row seat to all the ugly of Presidential campaigns? Because your attack on me is about my assertion she does have experience with politics, not arguing she doesn't have enough for the position or something reasonable. Talk about saying something really dumb.

With regards to the statement about Germany and Merkel, it is obviously hyperbole and your inability to recognize it is about freaking stupid as you're claiming the statement was. And I do agree it was a dumbass statement. American politics is full of dumbass statements. They happen multiple times a minute when politicians are in front of a camera. The conservatives on here have been decrying the sorry state of affairs of our political environment. Those of you on the left are virtually rabid about Trump.

And for the record, I don't like Trump either. Never voted for him in a primary, but voted for him in the General (will do so again) because his policies are head and shoulders above anything posited by the other candidates. I think he's an ass and if he is re-elected, we're going to have a three-ring circus for the next four years that will at least be more entertaining than the piss-poor three ring circus we'll have watching Biden continue to degenerate before our very eyes.
Ditto

Projecting to be right. You're a basket case if Trump becomes the next POTUS.
You gonna move to a new country when Trump wins in 2024? Gonna be like those lefty-ladies on the "View" & move away so you can be free of Trump?

Is there something specific he did today that got your underwear in a wad or just because he's still breathing?

Is there something specific he did today that got your underwear in a wad or just because he's still breathing?

If you can find it, watch his interview with CNBC this morning, and in particular his discussion of tariffs. He says he wants to impose massive tariffs on China. Just spouting off about it, no rhyme or reason. He also said he would have 10 % across the board tariffs on literally everyone and everything. WTF? Just a random spouting off the top of his head nonsensical, not thought out, suggestion.

He also wants the U.S. to become the world's dominant (not a major player -- dominant and in control) producer of oil. No discussion of how, just his usual promises with no details. Says in the below clip we will be double what Saudi Arabia and Russia do. WHAT THE ACTUAL FRICK is he talking about !?!?!?!?!?!?

He also said he would cut and also save Medicare and SS by finding fraud. A "tremendous" number of things that can be done. No details. No discussion of how much fraud there is. No discussion of how he'd ferret it out (when others apparently can't), what it would cost to do so, what cuts he'd make, etc.

He then said that he thinks inflation is 50 %. Five Oh.

This was a combination of friendly questions and some difficult ones, and he gave his usual "I'm the best" campaign style responses, but it was to specific questions or issues. It gave the impression that the folks on the show were trying to get to the nitty gritty and he was just blah, blah, best, greatest, don't worry about anything, cuts, tax breaks, NATO sucks, blah blah.

If you youtube and search Trump and CNBC it comes up in snippets. Here he is on entitlements. Ugh.
