2022 Target List

Not liking someone’s “motor” is French for “butt hurt he cut us from his list.”

The Ole Miss smoke is intriguing. You would think Tennessee would be far more appealing. Better talent, deeper roster, and a clear path to major minutes on a really good team in 2021 after the major 4/5 departures. These things are always weird. Who knows what is going on in BHH’s head.

Okpara keeps shooting up the rankings. Noticed he is a MoKan Elite AAU player, as well. Hopefully, K. Chandler can aid us here.

If you get bored, position and height/weight would be interesting

Yup, he’s a good looking prospect. Something that hasn’t been mentioned really, but has been in the back of my mind, never know with reclassifying so popular nowadays what guys in ‘22 could maybe be ‘21? We’ve talked about BHH, but a guy like Okpara or Tamba could be pretty appealing in ‘21 if that was a possibility as well.

If the above happens I would think regional kids become likely targets as they’ve likely been here or could come see campus on their own.

#6 Jaden Bradley-has been on campus, played with Maze’s AAU, familiar with Knoxville
#7 Dariq Whitehead
#8 Brandon Huntley-Hatfield
#14 Brandon Miller
#18 Scoot Henderson
#32 Eric Dailey Jr.
#39 Felix Okpara-has been too campus, lived in Chattanooga past couple years
#54 Roddy Gayle Jr.
#56 Prince Aligbe
#59 Colin Smith
#70 BJ Edwards-from Knoxville, been on campus, plays for Maze
#85 De’ante Green-from Christ School in NC (Fulky’s school), been a long time target, comfortable with staff
#92 Devin Ree
NR Daniel Sanford
NR Handje Tamba-from Knoxville, been on campus, plays for Maze

That’s insane. I’m sorry, but it’s just absolutely ridiculous to extend it all the way through next June. These kids are making the biggest decision of their life. I’m sure the universities can safely accommodate them.
I agree. There has to be a common sense way to make this happen. Especially if a vaccine is in place by Spring which by all accounts it seems like it should.

This is also making it so much more difficult on coaches evaluating prospects.

Edwards, Akpara, and Green would be a nice class. All three kids would be here all 4 years more than likely so that would be nice.

I see Tennessee offering here soon and being a factor, idk if he’s a potential reclass guy but could be, regardless I’m guessing Tennessee will be interested. From France and is now at Bishop Walsh in Maryland where ORN came from, and for those that recall during that recruitment Barnes and their coach go way back to Barnes days at GW. This guy looks like an absolute stud, a little like KD?!?!

Is GW supposed to be GM?

In any case, kid looks like a player.

This kid will have his choice of schools, especially as time goes by.

There is an excellent story on B.J. Edwards in today's Knoxville News Sentinel. His top five are Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Wake Forest and I forget the 5th school.

Barnes likes his passing and defense and shooting ability among other things while Georgia is telling him that he could be another Anthony Edwards and that Forbes recruits offense and teaches defense. He talks to Tennessee every day and feels that Tennessee is home.

At 6'3 he could play point guard or shooting guard. He is tight with Chandler.
