Kentucky locks themselves in the 8/9 game. Georgia will be the 10. We would play them if Mizzou and Ole Miss win and we lose

Tennessee can now only get the #4, #5 or #6 seed.

If Ole Miss wins tonight, Tennessee gets #4 with a win tomorrow or #6 with a loss. If Ole Miss loses, Tennessee’s floor is #5.

It goes without saying that I want the #4 seed, but I really want to avoid the #6 seed so that I don’t need to wait until 9:00 p.m. to watch the Vols.

The only “benefit” is being on the other side of the bracket from the best team. What I like about getting the 5 seed is that it would mean a rubber match game vs Florida.

Being the 6 means LSU. Really don’t want to ever play them again to be honest.. like never again forever

It wouldn't be a rubber match if we're the 5 seed. We would have lost to them twice already

Unless Stackhouse and Scottie find a way onto the court in the next eight minutes, our game against Florida will have the following outcomes:

Win: #4 seed, winner of Florida/Vandy/TAMU in the QFs and likely Alabama or Kentucky (gulp) in the semis.

Lose: #6 seed, opening against SCAR with LSU in the QFs and likely Arky or Mizzou in the semis.

I do not want to play Kentucky, but the #4 seed seems preferable in every other way.

If TN wins versus FL they will then play the winner of FL v TxAM/VU on Friday at 2pm on ESPN. Then Bama or KY/MS St on Saturday if they advance (ESPN-1pm).
——————————————————————————
If TN loses to FL and they play USC Thursday at 9pm on SEC NW. Then, if advancing, LSU at 9pm Friday, then Ark or GA/Missouri on Saturday (ESPN-3pm).

Yeah I like the other side of the bracket better except for the “double” bye
