I'm thinking Dame goes for

Barrett and Quickley + 3 1sts + miscellaneous

Or

Simmons, Maxey, and Thybulle + miscellaneous

I don't really get how the T-Wolves get involved. I don't like Ant Man or D-Lo.

Because his teammates sucked

Ehhh, I don't think that's it. The difference between good teams and bad teams is like .050 FG%. If you're a good setup guy, you're gonna get your numbers. We had this convo regarding Draymond. He still averaged 6.2 apg in 2020 when they were awful, only 17% below his best season to that point. Say Cade gets a 25% bump from better teammates...that's still just 4.4 apg.

Now maybe he doesn't have experience running the offense and they are projecting him to improve a ton as a passer, I can see that. But IDK if that's real. I'm just guessing

I have to defend Cade he’s my guy.

He’s a good passer but he has a high dribble. I actually think he’s more of a highly skilled combo guard (he reminds of a 6’8, good knees Brandon Roy). Killian is a great passer, so Cade doesn’t have to play PG full time and they can use his awesome shooting skills off ball

Yeah, all I'm saying is the stats say he probably shouldn't be the primary ballhandler, which is OK. It feels like it's getting harder to find players who can take over a game without dominating ball.

I mean that it seems like there are a lot more Lebrons, Lukas, Butlers, Hardens, Zions, Spydas, Jamal Murrays, etc. then there are Klay Thompsons and Devin Bookers. Klay can give you 25 off 10 dribbles.

When you need at least two borderline superstars to win a title, it helps a ton if one of them is a star off ball. If he can run the offense at times, all the better.

Two Vols scheduled to be first round picks. Absolute chaos 4-10. Big chances for trades. And the Pistons have the number 1 pick!

I will go and make a draft prediction sure to be wrong: The Raptors taking Scottie Barnes over Jalen Suggs would be a mistake

I will be shocked if the top 4 isn't Mobley, CC, Suggs, and Green in some order. I love Barnes but everybody is so scared of the lack of shooting.

If the Raptors can hit on this pick, they'll be in such a good position going forward. In 3 years they'll still have Siakam, Anunoby, and FVV ages 26-30 and cap room to grab a big FA along the way.

I am intrigued to see how the 2 HS to G-League players fair in the draft. Did year 1 help or hurt them - tough to measure but interesting to see if that path will grow.

Right now, I think 1 is targeted for mid 1st while the other is a 2nd.

In terms of draft stock, I think Kuminga's time in the G-league exposed what a project he is, but teams are really high on JG. I heard a Jarrett Jack interview and he played on the same G-league team as JG and he just thought the world of him.

Everybody was talking like this was a 5 player draft at the top, and now it's a 4 player draft and if JK doesn't go to OKC at 6, he might drop quite a bit.

Green is can't miss, too. I want Cade, but Green wouldn't hurt my feelings, if they made a deal. But, I prefer Cade, but it's closer than it was. I'm rambling
