You don’t remember Kif leaving quick and then calling the recruits and trying to stop them from signing their letter of intent? You don’t remember all the people that quit and transferred. The trouble makers and selfish players he brought in? You have your opinion but it’s wrong. at this point CLK is half a coach also. All offense and no defens.

Depending on how hot Pruitt's seat is in 2021, I do not see UT hiring Muschamp as defensive coordinator when they are paying over 1 million to Ansley to do the same duty.

If you genuinely think that all of today's problems stem from one coach in one season over 10 years ago, then you are literally (and I mean this in all honest to god seriousness) too stupid to even begin to reason with... Just wow...

Kiffin is having success right now. It will likely never happen - but don’t kid yourself - look at the evidence - 40 points a game against an all sec schedule in his first year -

Who else could do that ? Besides Hugh Freeze? Just as a point of reference we barely average 20 points per game. SC doesn’t throw a pick six and we are 1-5 averaging less than 20 ppg.

We are going no where fast. We need help. I would take Kiffin tomorrow.

W/L is what I gauge Head Coaches by. Kiffin is not having success this year. Kiffin would not stay here long even in an alternate universe. Kiffin is a good O/C but that is his ceiling.

What do Pruitt, Smart and Chump all have in common? They all won national championships as a DC for NICK SABAN! Those defenses were Saban's defenses.

Muschamp was a disaster in Florida. He was a disaster at Auburn. He was a disaster at USCe. He is however, the best contract negotiator, not names Charlie Weis.

I used to be apathetic about Ole Miss. I may have even cheered them on from time to time against certain teams. I was even fine when they hired Kiffin since he would either be a thorn in Saban's side or he would fail miserably and return to football coaching obscurity. But if Ole Miss has Kiffin and Muschamp on the same staff, that apathy immediately turns into pure, unadulterated hatred. I would wish they lose every game by 40+ points if that happens. I would hate Ole Miss more than I hate Florida, and I have never hated a team more than I hate Florida.

That’s a risk you take, or not as in every other coach we’ve had because none of them were ever offered anything. Nobody else wanted them

I'd offer him peanuts on a rest of the season prove it deal. If he does alright give him 2 seasons.

We need a spark and someone or something to light a fire under these players a$$e$ and get them motivated to playing football like the good ol days.

Sadly we don't have JJ anymore and doesn't look like there's anyone on the team right now that rallies the team together like he did.

Maybe this is what we need. Maybe with him Pruitt can stop being a control freak and have more time to focus on our QBs and the rest of the team instead of just one player on offense and one side of the ball.

Can’t deny the jumping ship, but his failing as a HC didn’t have anything to do with his football IQ .
Things that caused his failure can be overcome with maturity and experience, so whether he will be a good HC at Ole Miss is still to be determined

Two 11 - 3 years at Florida Atlantic for Kiffin, one 10-2 record at Southern Cal. 63% overall winning percentage. Florida Atlantic was Kiffin's Liberty University rebuild.
