In 1965, Tennessee's most complete game all season game against seventh ranked Georgia Tech, coached by Hall of Fame coach Bobby Dodd who had been an All-American quarterback at Tennessee for Bob Neyland
Two games after the horrific car accident that killed 3 coaches, Charlie Fulton helped the Vols to defeat the #7 ranked Yellow Jackets 21-7. Fulton threw for 101 yards while rushing for 133 yards.
Could not find a pic of Fulton vs Ga Tech.
Here's the football program and film of the 1979 20-17 win by Tennessee over Kentucky in Lexington.

Yep. Corso, and most old school 'Nole fans say, that the UT victory was the biggest win in the schools history.Johnny's brother Joe was quarterback for Florida State from 1957-1959. He them to a 7-3 regular season record and the Bluegrass Bowl against Oklahoma State in 1958. His 1958 team beat Tennessee in Knoxville 10-0.

In the long list of great UT receivers, Larry Seivers is near the top. In the 1976 game vs Clemson, Seivers tied a Tennessee record with 11 catches for 131 yards and a touchdown in the 21-19 victory. Seivers is the only 2X consensus All-American received in Vols history. #retire89

I'll give you the #retire27 also. Between Lauricella and Al Wilson, that's more than reason enough.127 days.........
1951 was a banner year for the Vols and Hank Lauricella. Hank led the Vols to a National Championship and set the record for rushing yards in a season with 881, which would last for 20 years. On a cold November day in ‘51, UT traveled to Lexington to face #7 UK. The defense shut out the high scoring Cats 28-0 and Lauricella ran all over them for 127 yards.
Hurrying Hank follows a block vs UK
