2020 Primaries

Which part are you having trouble with? I suspect that, at some point before election season heats up or early in it, Biden will drop out of the race (probably citing health issues), and someone else will be stood up as the democratic candidate. It's all valid English, and decent sentence structure. I don't know what you're struggling with.

LOL, you really think that?

Because every freaking right you possess today originates out of that Constitution. I know you ungrateful hacks on the left hate the Constitution. And listen Nancy if you don't like it tough 💩. You can try to change it through the process that is set up or you can move. Simple as that. Stop whining about the process and change it.

Sorry but you are wrong. Our rights originate from the beginning on mankind, the constitution simply guarantees the federal government won’t trample on them.

I don’t have the ability to critically think through a thoughtful position and I don’t like what you’re saying, so I’ll just tell you to get over it or move. Great strategy there hoss.

Also, we are born with certain "inalienable" natural rights. That is, rights that are God-given and can never be taken or even given away. They aren’t granted by the constitution, I think you’re confused.

I definitely see it as a distinct possibility.

I just can't see Biden as the Ds choice for Trump-killer. He comes across as a senile old man that doesn't know where he is, who his wife is, what decade he's in. He's the creepy sniffer guy. I suspect there's a ****-storm coming from Ukraine and Hunter. He's obviously too mentally weak to stand up to Trump on the campaign trail for months. Hell, if Hillary couldn't beat Trump, they expect ObidenBama to?

I just see him as the useful idiot that was there to kill Bernie's chances of burning the D party down this cycle, and they'll move on to someone else soon enough.

Biden dropping out would be a disaster for the Democrats for this election, imo. I dont think it happens.
I suspect Biden running will be a disaster for them. If he stays in and runs, I can only surmise that they have conceded the presidency and were just relieved to get Bernie off the ticket to get a shot at not losing the House.

In the end, Bernie was the establishment figure who brought down Bernie's campaign: the Fidel Castro answers to softball questions were catastrophic.

Talking to friends who were amenable to voting for Sanders after Nevada, they all mentioned this. Though perhaps a small thing, it previewed how inept Bernie would be at answering Trump's "Boo, Socialism!" attacks. It disqualified him as someone who could beat Trump in their minds.

Joe Biden could have a complete mental crash and Hillary come in because he can't function at all.

When will people learn to stop making absolutist predictions. Just because you have disqualified a candidate in your mind doesn't mean they won't win.

A lot of Hillary bots 4 years ago repeated that Trump could never win like a mantra. A lot of Bernie bots were very confident about Michigan last night, but he lost every single county there.

Trump should be considered the favorite against all possible opponents as the only incumbents to lose recently were Carter and HW Bush, who had approvals in the low 30s before the election. Still, Biden has a chance as long as he is on the ballot.

How did you equate "I suspect" and "if I'm wrong, I can only surmise" to "absolute prediction"?

Again, I thought it was brash, tough guy stuff like this that made Donny so lovable to his base... Weird how Joe is getting ripped for it by the same.

I may be wrong, but Trump attacked his opponents non-stop, not general public like Joe lashed out on that guy. not the first time Joe has lost his cool toward constituents.

Done away with, no. Modified to distribute the States population determined delegates proportional to the electorates votes (like Maine & Nebraska), yes.

I'd also dump the ability for delegates to vote how they wanted and to get rid of superdelegates.

The process has boiled down to a few swing states determining the election and even then the swing states have a significant number of minority party voters whose will is worthless due to a winner take all system.

Well thought out. Taken as a whole, I'd agree with a good portion of your take on this. It sounds good. I can entertain that the EC needs "updating." It's absurd to think it should be done away with.

I was in the DNC is going to screw the Bern over one last time crowd . I’m still here 😂
Bernie can piss off. He is on the ballot in every state. Nobody screwed him out of anything. He lost, resoundingly. Time for the Bern to retire on a farm in Vermont and go away.

Just as the small town people shouldn't have their voices squashed by the city slickers in a statewide election?

Does the vote by a person in Nashville count for more, less, or the same as the vote by a person in Sneedville in statewide elections? Is that the way it should be?

Then that should be up to each individual state to determine their election processes.
