I’ve watched him specifically listening for the stutter I’ve read about but honestly it’s not that noticeable to me at all . At his age , ( again just to my ears ) it’s more of , he can’t find the words he wants to get out .

Well, that’s the point. It’s not a traditional stutter in which he messes up his words. It’s an internal stutter in which your brain can’t put the words together.

In the article I linked, it talks about how he learned to cope with it in high school and eventually beat it. But now as it has returned, when his mind “betrays” him on stage, he either stops talking or changes the subject.

I remember rumors that by the end of his Presidency, Reagan was in the grips of Alzheimer's and Nancy was making decisions. Seems too farfetched to be true, but who really knows, other than the people who were there.

Yep - Biden will make this race a referendum on decency. He’ll pick Kamala or Stacey Abrams as VP, and say he’s not running for himself. He’s running to save the country’s soul. “Don’t vote for me, vote for your country.”

I don’t know if it will work. It might not. But that’s how he has to attack this.

I think you are spot on , it will take the concern pressure of picking him off the table . It’s actually what Trump did if you think about it .

I would have much preferred someone younger.
The other day I looked at the age of past presidents when first taking office. (back to JFK) Of those 11 presidents, the 4 youngest were all democrats and the 5 oldest were all republicans. Bush 2 was the 5th youngest, beating out LBJ by one year. Otherwise it would have been a clean sweep.

I agree for the most part. I'm curious who he will pick for VP. The whole election may hinge on the choice.

Party unity is nothing more than voter control and vote fixing. You have a nonvoting
group determining who people get to vote for.

That's fixing a vote.

The DNC did the same thing for Biden that they did for Hilary. They used their bylaws to choose the candidate for the American people.

It's one of a number of reasons I dont like parties in this nation. Both sides do it. And it complete devalues any system of voting to have third parties making decisions outside the scope of individual americans.
