2020 Primaries

A good portion of the Democratic party has lost their damn minds.
I was hoping the Dems would be able to actually find a candidate better than Trump. I know for a certainty that Bernie and Bloomberg do not fit that bill. Socialism is not the answer, and anyone who hates Trump because he's a liar, blah, blah, blah would be a hypocrite to support Bloomberg. He's the liberal Trump. I don't know enough about Pete, but it doesn't seem like he has a legit shot at the nom. JMO, but the Dems missed out on a big opportunity to focus on 2020 by wasting time with a nonsense impeachment. They've **** the bed in a major way.

This in my opinion is a racist comment by Sanders. He's basically saying, African Americans, Latinos Native Americans are drug dealers. So we'll legitimize their illegal business. I'm fine with decriminalized marijuana but I would never make the comments he did. Another old white racists. ;)

It's not going to happen, but nothing would be more hilarious than Biden being the only viable candidate in South Carolina. Talk about derailing Bernie...
Full disclosure...I always liked Joe...there were stories about him living in a modest home and taking Amtrak to the Capitol daily..but the stuff with Hunter no way he didn't know what was going on...there were at least 4 occasions...HSBC.... Amtrak.... Ukraine...China where Hunter tapped into his Dad's access as VP.....still he is the best candidate the Dems have outside Tulsi imo

Biden absolutely must win South Carolina to stay in this. It looks like Bernie will win Michigan. They love the Bern in that state for some reason.

What is "Because they're mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore?" I'll take Political Psychology for 400, Alex.

If Bernie is the Democratic Party nominee, I tend to doubt that he would win the general election because I think he would lose both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and might even lose Minnesota... but he would win Michigan. They love the guy. No doubt about that.

He resonates with those voters, for sure. He would have won there in 2016, but would have lost some places Hillary won.

If he's the nominee he will have a puncher's chance IMHO, and it might be 50 to 1, but Trump will have to avoid Hillary's mistake of thinking the victory is in the bag. If he does that, he could get shocked.

I'll be damned. Biden might make a race out of this.

With the bloom being of Bloomberg and Pete/Amy too far back you might see some movement to Biden if he cranks in SC.

latest polls have changed the 538 forecast to "brokered" (no one winning more than 1/2 the delegates) to a strong #1 at 49%. Bernie down to 32%. It was a dead heat just a few days ago.

Biden could end up as the #2 in delegates at said brokered convention and he'd win easily in the second vote.

I pray that he doesn't pick Warren or Stacy Abrams as VP - I doubt Biden lasts one term
