2020 Primaries

Alright so I have things around the house to get done today so I will leave you with what I learned today.

-Hospitals should have the right to refuse people who can't pay.

-Other countries don't actually like their healthcare system despite polling saying otherwise. I can't however provide any evidence of any country switching to our system.

-Our healthcare costs more per person than "socialism" but it's "socialism" which is bad so I don't want it.

Have a good day and can't wait until we fast forward to Sanders-Trump and the absolute meltdown that you all will have when Sanders wins because "Socialism."
Actually the real lesson was your desire to put healthcare on the same pedestal as the second amendment is not supported by our constitution which several of us factually pointed out and you refuse to acknowledge that as it totally deflates your talking points. Taa taa!

When they are rated better in Healthcare, Education, and Income Equity then yes.

If America was doing everything the best, then we can ignore other countries. But we aren't so instead of saying we Europe, why don't we actually take a lesson on what worked.

Not sure if I missed but where exactly is healthcare working better than here? Why are so many Brits teeth gray and yellow?

Gray and Yellow Gray and Yellow...

So even though healthcare is more important or as important... We shouldn't recognize it as a right because our founders didn't?

Is food, clothing, and shelter not more important than healthcare? Should that not be included in those rights too then?

If healthcare should be provided to every citizen from the day of their birth then certainly food, water, clothing, and a home should be added to that list of govt responsibilities as well.

LA's... Lazy Americans can't comprehend this

It might be hard to see if you have hundreds of thousands in student loan debts for a job making 40K a year. But not everyone was a sucker and they signed they dotted line four that loan.

Ultimately you make your own destiny and your failure or success is yours and not societies responsibility.

I don't know if you're being funny with the writing errors or not.

Here is why healthcare cannot be considered a right. In order to provide healthcare to all as a right we would have to take away from others either in the form of money or freedom. Since no other right we possess and spelled out within the constitution requires anything to be taken from another person in order for us to have that right.

The Constitution is racist

It would be a repeat of 2016. Bernie is a toxic candidate, same as Hillary was. Worse in a way, because of the Democratic socialism bit. Many people would stay home, or vote for Trump based on economic factors. And that will affect down ballot races of Democrats. The only thing worse than Bernie winning the nomination is Bloomberg winning.
I'm doing my best to get a solid candidate nominated for the Democratic party.

I would like to hear your perspective on how we got to this on the democrat side. I'd like to say I saw this coming years ago with other democrats have been denying it.

I don't know one person that voted for Trump because he "started left." He was just all over the place like he is today.

One thing that Bernie always polls well in is honesty and consistency and "cares about people like me"

Now sure there are many that just don't like the ideology he is espousing but there are many who would rather have that than Trump who just changes stances on a whim when it's politically convenient.

Poll me and I'll respond "Bernie doesn't give a damn about me."

Now if you're underemployed and living in your Mom's basement, sure the answer would be different.

Bernie's appeal is simple: He robs Peter to pay Paul and as a result Paul supports him.

Healthcare is a right . OK. So does that mean if you call your dentist at 2am and he doesn't agree to pull your tooth that night that he's violated your rights? This concept has all kinds of stupid written all over it
