Being honest, I don't want Sanders anywhere near winning the democratic nomination. He is a socialist and communist sympathizer.

Make no mistake though, the democratic party is panicking. Joe Biden is straggling big and they are partly to blame for allowing Socialist ideas to gain traction within the caucus. Now they are reacting to it. The leaders of this party are pathetic.

The Democrats know Bernie will be destroyed by President Trump like what Nixon did to George McGovern in 1972.

I also don't want Bernie anywhere near the oval office. Imo he's more a communist than a socialist.

Many do, but the activist wing in the party still thinks Obama was a sellout neoliberal shill.

These folks don't understand the political math of our Republic, which apportions more political power to rural states than to urban enclaves and creates constitutional impediments against major change by enforcing incrementalism. It feels like we are about to have an election between warring cults to those of us in the broad un-peopled center.

These bubble people of the left will always be there to advocate and fund the most popular candidate in Brooklyn and Haight-Ashbury, ironically ensuring that the progressive change they want to achieve never happens anywhere but in their particular bubble. And even in their liberal paradises, they blithely canter by those suffering and starving on the stoops of their condominiums while condemning any politician or citizen on social media who understands that the word "revolution" ends more often in bodies in the street and totalitarian oppression, and that the liberty of our American Revolution was a once in a millennia miracle that the framers rightly sought to preserve in constitutional amber.

In short, many don't see the truck about to hit them any more than they did in 2016.
