What was the quote? I'm not going to dig back through all the pages to find it.
You do realize that Americans live in those states you don't give a **** about, right? Hell, if Hillary had given a **** about those states and actually campaigned in them, she might have won the EC. But she didn't.Again, who gives a s*** about fairness for states? It’s about fairness for all Americans, not disproportionate say for those who stand in a certain spot.
He also called rebellion a good thing. Are you up for overthrowing the government?I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and Constitutions. But laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths discovered and manners and opinions change, with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors.-Thomas Jefferson

You do know that states are made up of people, right? People with geographic and cultural interests? They're not just lines on a map, and their cultural/geographic/business/financial interests deserve just as much representation as the categorical interests of other areas. And many believe that it's unfair to allow entire swaths of cultural interests to be underrepresented just because those cultures happen to have less people in them. And those that believe that are in good company, going back over 200 years, and through some of history's greatest thinkers.Again, who gives a s*** about fairness for states? Feel free to convince us otherwise with a well-formed rational agument that shows that your version of "fair" is better than ours. Hopefully, an actual argument that doesn't rely on your personal credulity and the logic of your toddlers.

I've seen it twice. I find it funny that you post that quote, which encourages us to make changes based on the advances of the human mind, all while you've been incapable of making any semblance of rational argument in favor of your stance.
It's truly bewildering.
He’s talking to you, not me. He’s telling to to stop invoking the work they did 250 years ago and put in your own work. Yet, you cling to the notion that people who lived in the 18th century know what’s best for people in 2020, so we should just shut up and accept it.
That quote is for you, my friend.
I'd argue that the State of Virginia is a glowing example of what can go wrong with an overpopulated area out voting 90% of the property area of a state. Many Virginians I know hate it there now and are looking to move.
