There is nothing that Trump ever says which requires deep analysis. His accusations always reflect a simple-mindedness. They are invariably transparent in their motive, self-serving and easily refuted.

No, I was just giving examples that shattered your talking points with things he did. You tried for a gotcha moment against the governors that "ordered" something. Trying to be cute is where you went wrong. What the governors did rose up to authoritarian but trump's "order" didn't?

The first night of the Republican National Convention drew nearly six times more viewers Monday than the first night of the Democratic National Convention the week prior on C-SPAN, The Hill reported.

Was it an actual order? Written down somewhere and sent to GM? I havent seen that said, so it's not on the level of the governors. If he did actually send them an order then yes that would be at least as bad as what the governors did.

My understanding of the power is that the president can request X from said company. If said company can comply and doesnt the president can then seize control. As I stated above I dont think Trump seized control.

Are you sure you are a history major , I mean it works the same way all down through history .
