Hillary and Trump both have the most irritating voices in history of voices. Although I did laugh my ass off when Hillary tried to use a southern accent in one of her speeches years ago.

Regardless, just taxing corporations rather than middle class.

If it can not be proven to reduce costs, then I am not interested as government programs are known for waste and inefficiency. What is the beef anyways? Only 8% of Americans do not have insurance and probably do not even want it. You can get heavily subsided insurance right now at little cost, just that some want it free.

If he climbs up high enough in the primaries, his opponents will attack him and bring him back down to Earth. He has not had to face any campaign to bring up his negatives yet. They will either find or make up some kind of unwanted sexual advances towards several men in the past. If he doesn't have skeletons, some will appear out of nowhere.

Anybody thinking that taxes have no economic effect is a damn fool. Our jobs are scattered all across the globe partly because our idiot politicians thought you could just tax business and nobody would notice. Number one reason that Pete and the rest of the dim field are unsuitable for the job.

You are right about the uninsured and choice. I've read lots of comments (not necessarily on VN) by posters who don't want insurance because they are young, dumb, and healthy ... but they don't want to pay the penalty for never having had insurance later. They refuse to accept the pool concept ... you pay in when you are healthy to support those in need; later on healthy people pay in to support you in your time of need ... or you pay into savings account when you are young to finance your health problems later ... either angle works fine. Insurance has worked that way for ages; in fact, it doesn't work any other way. Obamacare proved it all over again ... add tons of people needing care to the pool with out a counterbalance and the cost goes up.

Yepper, we're deplorable and proud. We couldn't care less about what a pollster wants to know. Actions (actual votes) are far better than words (pollster prognostications).

I do really wish at this point that we had the necessary football attributes (talent, plan, and depth) to make some other prognosticators eat their polls and prognostications tonight ... I'm really in the mood for another '86 Sugar Bowl, but not naive enough to think it's possible.

I love how her defenders are trying to spin this. Apparently they’re saying she canceled because she didn’t want to share the stage with Kirstjen Nielsen because she locked kids in cages. Of course she had no problem sharing the stage with Barack Obama at the 2016 convention and he locked kids in cages. She wanted no part of a face to face with Gabbard.
