Tonight is the first time in years I've watched a Fox News program from beginning to end. Mayor Pete absolutely knocked it out of the park. He's articulate, educated, honest, composed, and direct; even the Fox News crowd gave him a standing ovation at the end, much to the surprise of Chris Wallace (a great moderator, btw). He discusses solid center-Left policy proposals. He's a Millennial vet from the Rust Belt. Unlike other Democrats, he actually went in the viper's nest of Fox News and called out the blowhard idiots on the network. And he is a Game of Thrones nerd.
Solid quote on Trump: "The Tweets are, I don't care... We need to make sure that we're changing the channel from this show that he's created. Because what matters, and I get it, look it's mesmerizing, it's hard for anybody to look away, me too. It is the nature of grotesque things that you can't look away."
Bret Hume responding to Trump whining and being his normal triggered snowflake self over Pete being on Fox News: "Say this for Buttigieg. He’s willing to be questioned by
Chris Wallace, something you’ve barely done since you’ve been president," Hume tweeted, quoting Trump's initial criticism."
Give the town hall a watch. A lot of people are underestimating him. It might not happen in 2020, but he is the future of the progressive movement.
