After his eye popping combine numbers, I'll be surprised if he's not drafted and maybe higher than Admiral or Grant. The NBA loves to draft exceptional athletes. They can teach basketball, they can't teach that speed and leaping ability.
maybe late 2 which i would wait a year on..

Yeah they changed it to where underclassmen can return to school if they go undrafted.
wow, im glad they have some common sense. good news. makes sense to stay in then. i guess he just refuses to sign the paperwork if they draft him but i imagine if he is drafted, they have some pre-determined agreement because i wouldnt want to waste a pick on someone who doesnt want to play for me.

Nervous about the Memphis game this year . Just don’t know how Penny is gonna sort those minutes out with all those players .

Memphis put 96 on us last year with a bunch of Freshmen. It was close. We pulled away the last minute or so.
No we didn’t. We up 18 in the 1st half, 15 at halftime, and basically played them even in the 2nd half, maintaining a comfortable 10-12 point lead throughout. UM cut it to single digits a couple times, but never threatened.

They scored 92 on us, and 57 came in the 2nd half. They got 31 points from an unconscious Kyvon Davenport, who was a senior, not a freshman.

Jury is still out on Penny. Not sold one bit that he is going to be a successful coach. It is funny how people are acting like we are going to have automatic losses to talented teams now that good players have left. We still have good players on our roster and Josiah James is most likely going to be the next great player for UT hoops. Have some faith in Barnes.

They cut the lead to single digits three times. The last being with 10 minutes left in the second half. Never got within a single possession.

Three straight 5A State Championships isn't a bad resume. Similar AAU success. 20+ wins this year with not one NBA prospect. Played UCF and Cincinnati close. Scared UT to death. Not bad for a team coming off a year where they lost their exhibition game to CBU.

You really think Bone gets drafted higher than Grant?

********. You have no clue what you are talking about. They lost 4 seniors. Davenport had his best game of maybe his career.

It was a 15 point game at half and about 10 points with 6 minutes left. Every time they tried to cut it, we responded. Watch the games if you want to discuss.

Edit: Chris nailed it. I hadn’t read far enough.

I have no doubt Penny would win a middle school championship with the team he has currently assembled.

James,Turner,Bowden,Fulkerson,Burns starting with Gaines,Johnson,Pons Pember,Kent on the bench.

We better be adding a 5 star or a real good grad transfer soon or it wont be pretty.

Uros Plavsic being eligible would at least give us good size.

What are the odds the NCAA will be investigating Memphis before the game in TBA next season?

The last 3 commits Memphis has got they have beat out the following schools (some more than once)

Arizona, Auburn, Kansas, LSU, Oregon, and Duke. So I'm to believe these kids are going to the school with 2 vacated Final 4s (Memphis) for free?

Memphis will have talent but all freshmen. We have beat KY teams like that and Cal can coach circles around Penny
