2018 Schedule - I dare

With the staff changes and scheme changes I expect to win our 4 OC games and to handle SC, Ky, Mo and Vandy in a solid fashion.

WV will be preping in the dark for us. Sure they will have the film from the O&W game but other than that we are an unknown. That's why I think we get the win. If we were playing them late in the year who knows. But we aren't. Or if they could game plan on us all off season watching film to get an edge they could be trouble. But that's not the case. We know what they will do based off what they did last year.

All Smart had to do was beat Pruitt's defense and the chumps would be celebrating a NC.

He couldn't. Until he does, he can't.

CJP isn't like Butch where we want the HC to step aside and get a good OC and DC to win games for him. CHP is a quality DC that has be given it a shot a HC. He could blow this chance and end up like Butch and Dooley.
Lol, sure

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

So you're admitting you know nothing, I see. Least you're honest. Now, as for this frequency you're asking about, it's between - 1420.36MHz and 1420.46MHz. The variance is resultant of equipment used as well as equipment settings but is in the right range. However, the Normandy S71R isn't ready for boarding. So you can't leave right away. But the Vols will be better than you think just the same. :yahoo:

Sept. 1 vs. West Virginia (Charlotte, N.C.)

W 16 -10 .

Sept. 8 ETSU

W 48 - 12 .

Sept. 15 UTEP

W 38 - 22 .

Sept. 22 Florida

W 19 - 10 .

Sept. 29 at Georgia

L 38 - 16 .

Oct. 13 at Auburn

L 28 -14 .

Oct. 20 Alabama

W 19 -10 .

Oct. 27 at South Carolina

W 46-26 Offense primed and confident. Pruitt inserts subs again too soon.

Nov. 3 Charlotte

W 49 - 10 Subs play a significant amount of time.

Nov. 10 Kentucky

W 50 - 10 Order of universe returns to form. But for three quarters Wildcats make it a game. Pruitt doesn’t sub this time.

Nov. 17 Missouri

W 54 - 26 Dooley hate is strong. Pruitt understands this and lets the beasts loose.

Nov. 24 at Vanderbilt

W 30 - 20 Revenge game, lots of penalties, lots of highlight plays. This is going to be a heck of a game fueled by pride, intra-state hatred, and lots of Vols fury. There will be bigger names in games in 2018 but this one has highlight championship all over it.

You might beat South Carolina in Columbia. However, I doubt you'll win by 20 and insert the subs too early.

The winner has averaged winning by 3.5 points the last 6 years. The Vols have not beaten SCar by 20 this century. Three games have gone to OT this century. 11 of 17 games have been decided by one score.

The worst part is all the grief I catch from other Vol fans for counting y'all as a gimme game.

All this losing to y'all is getting old.

Smart beat Pruitt 38-10 in 2015. Pruitt was with uga and smart with Bama. So whoever has Saban and his players wins apparently. We’ll see who wins without Saban this year.

Sounds like the one at Ga is the one that loses.

I like the way you think.

Pruitt has never head coached a college football game in his life. So we can’t compare. When people say that Pruitt beat Kirby, I automatically categorize them as idiots. Saban’s team barely, with the help of horrible officiating, overcame Kirby’s team in OT in the NC game. Pruitt was one of six coordinators/head coaches in the mix. Anyone who doesn’t understand that has no business speaking on CFB, or really anything.

You should send a memo to the NCAA about the "horrible officiating".

Or send one to Smart telling him to go for the throat rather than run the clock early in the 4th qtr.

"Well" see when the game is drawn and poured into the pale Williams-Brice Stadium. And the dipper is handed to the the W-L column for a sip.

Are people seriously believing we will beat Georgia next season?
The team that put the historic whipping on us this past season?
The team that played in the NCG and took bama to the wire just a few weeks ago?
Look, I realize Georgia is losing some key guys and Jones is no longer here, but come on.

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.

Our changes along with their changes, changes so much.

Do you write them off as a loss?

I have them down as a toss up due to the changes. It helps us that it's in chumphollow. They seem to choke more while at home and close to home.

So, just for sake of argument.....is it possible for Florida to make the same level of improvement?

Their only regular season loss was on the road at Auburn. They then beat the same Auburn team in Atlanta, which I'm guessing is your definition of close to home. Losing to Bama by 3 in OT when no one was giving them a chance in the game anyway really isn't choking. I think Vegas had UGA +4.5, so technically they did better than expected.

Fine. Technically y'all over achieved.

How big was the lead? How late in the game?

Choke job. Seems more accurate.

Their own fans didn't give them a chance of winning. I guess after a while y'all know what to expect. It's always nice to cover the line even in a loss. How much did you win?

lol technically? UGA wasn't predicted to win the East this year and they went to the CFP and lost in OT by 3 points. That's pretty much the definition of overachieving. As far as giving my team a chance to win, I went about it logically and considered the game a toss up and I guess I was right. Realistically how do you think UT will do this year? I think I've seen you predict a win for every game. I doubt that happens, but I was just wrong about UGA's season so I'm clearly not an expert. I see UT having a ceiling of 9-3 and a floor of 6-6.
As far as betting goes, the only game I bet on this year was UGA vs USCe and I won about $300. UGA was a 23.5 point favorite and I knew they wouldn't cover that ridiculous spread against a decent Carolina team.

In college football I don't believe in ceilings for P5 teams.

We have 12 games on our schedule I expect to win. 4 I consider toss ups.

15-0 here we come.

2018. The year of the Vol.
