2018 Midterm Election Thread

1. We are already into people's personal possessions. That's not going to change.
2. People were afforded the opportunity to accumulate those personal possessions because of the affluence of the society in which they exist. That comes at a cost.

The debate on how the burden should be dispersed will be unending. To me, the trends in wealth redistribution and tax laws are both going in the wrong direction. That's just me, and luckily I and my family will personally be just fine either way.
I wish the R's would just go ahead and end all public assistance. The blowback would be swift and decisive.

You lost the right to say, "that's the way it is so that's the way it should be" when you said that there electoral college needs to be changed. It's a lazy form of debate anyway. If you can't support your ideals, i understand. I expected it.

Just know that every time you refer to "fair share" around here, everyone will remember your failures here.

WRT #1. Trump jas lessened the burden with the tax cuts. Significant in my case thank you very much. WRT #2, that is Obama's "You didn't build that" repackaged. More retardation.

That is why they won't do it. They talk a big game but they can't afford to lose the votes in the Red States. You people know this is true.

lol..........
You are fascinating at creating your own reality.
I never said the electoral college needs to be changed. You ASSUMED that and made it your reality.
"Fair share" has always been and will always be open to personal definition and interpretation.
I think an individual's interpretation is one of the best self-definers of that individual.

And you have yet to define 'fair share' as anything other than 'more'.

Nice try. You're pitiful.

And is great that you've retreated again to your "well that's all just a matter of each person's opinion and all, man" safe space after calling Trump's tax plan "obviously unfair". You know... Liked it obvious. So obvious that you have to retreat to your "only opinion" when asked to explain the obvious.

Good evening.

Yeah, I’m not voting for someone that’s proposing tax increases on anyone. With one caveat though, if someone wanted tax increases coupled with a plan of severe a cross the board spending cuts that lead to the elimination of the national debt I’d consider them.

But no one from either party is interested in that.
