2016 Transfer List:

Ray Kasongo's camp says the sophomore forward will transfer after completing his academic responsibilities at Tennessee.

Mostella probably?

It's impossible to say, it's not like the Kasongo deal where everyone pretty much knew he was gone and we were actively recruiting bigs.

It's a case of, the staff probably looks to add one more and is done, if somehow they can land Yurtseven then they will find themselves in a tough spot of having to run a kid off in June, not ideal obviously.

I find it absurd that Mostella would be the one out in any scenario. Dude was our best(returning) player at the end of the season.

But 3 game prior to that very good finish he was anything but good and in the dog house.

Yep

Excellent finish for sure

Same with hubbs

But does he have the feeling he's been recruited over with the glut of guards Barnes has added.
Will he stick around to find out if he'll be playing behind any of them?

The War Room said Hubbs, Turner, Alexander, and Schofield are off to the best starts in workouts, fwiw.

I figured Mostella and Phillips would be on that list as well. I'm really excited about Alexander if he can put on like 15 pounds or so he can start next year. I think you could see a line up like this:
PG:Turner
G:Mostella
G:Hubbs
F:Schofield
F:Alexander
If Alexander can keep developing and rebound really well next year can be a pretty good year. Not great but good.

My guess is that Phillips starts and Mostella is 'offense off the bench' type of role.

I know many will disagree, but I try to get involved with Valentine Izundu. He's graduating and transferring from Washington State, 6'11" 215lbs, didn't put up eye popping numbers but depending on what else you can get would be a nice 1 year stop gap option.

This past year: 14.9mpg 3.8ppg 2.7rpg 2.2bpg

I think he could be a ~20mpg 5/5/4 rim protector for us, obviously not a world beater but depending on what are other options are I would prefer adding him than riding with 12 guys.
