2016 Election

It's funny that Cruz likes to say he is an "outsider" politician. But he sure does have that "take advantage of a crisis" down pat.

He was talking about this is 2016, we need to be working with each other to solve problems.

His Senate record shows how he works with others to solve problems, he doesn't. A Class A hypocrit.

I thought he was your guy?
I have said before that I don't like him, but like a lot of his ideas. He is hard to like. My brother and I watched him in 2 of his Texas Senate debates a few years ago in our own separate homes, and both came to the same conclusion.

The Dem that he ran against was much more likeable and personable, but we disagreed with his ideas, and agreed with Cruz.

Yeah I just saw video of a white trump supporter with a black guy in a head lock....so....I am willing to bet both sides acted terribly

Oh, I'm not saying there aren't some violent sorts among the Trump supporters. Just that the ones they've interviewed seem much more articulate than the protesters.

He is a brilliant guy that talks a good game. The problem is, Actions speak louder than words.

I lost all respect for Cruz tonight. Instead of condemning the violence by the Chicago Thugs, he blames Trump, and makes a campaign speech.

CNN has been egging on the violence all day long.

Oh, it's certainly something that reflects badly on the left regardless of cycle. I'm speaking more to the Trump engine and how this could actually fuel it a bit.

I think this more than lowering the turnout for the left. All this does is somewhat prove Trump correct that it's the protesters that are causing the problems at his events. And it just gives voters another reason to get behind him as most would be against these types of protests.

Hannity hasn't seen any violence at Trump rallies. He has a very complex relationship with facts.
What, one punch while a guy is being escorted out? There have been people removed for trying to drown Trump out. How many would be arrested if they didn't disrupt the rally?

It is okay if they want to make their position known, but you can be expected to be thrown out of most anything that you disrupt. Try it at a school board meeting.

Trump is running for school board too?

You know violence and harsh rhetoric is happening more and more lately. A Breitbart reporter was assaulted by his campaign manager. And Trump isn't doing very much to discourage it. It's relatively tame, but after tonight who knows?

I did read something today that they're breaking the law by even protesting inside the venue because the Secret Service is present. Not really an excuse for violence, but interesting nonetheless.

BH hit the nail on the head. If this is happening at a normal campaign rally, imagine what's going to happen at the convention this summer.
