BH hit the nail on the head. If this is happening at a normal campaign rally, imagine what's going to happen at the convention this summer.

Picture the chaos if you combine that with a brokered convention and the supporters of the candidates get into inside while protesters clash outside...

Enough that she filed charges and one of the Breitbart spokesmen quit his job over it since they weren't taking it serious enough.

Of course they're not taking it seriously. Their comment section is a breeding-ground for the least common denominator, and they want to keep it that way.

This story just gets better.... Here is a blurb

During a Trump campaign event in Jupiter, Florida Tuesday, Breitbart News Political Reporter Michelle Fields was physically grabbed and nearly thrown to the ground after asking presidential candidate Donald Trump a question about affirmative action

It was the affirmative action question that set him off.... He's a nazi

Good grief!

I agree with you for the most part.

But honestly, Trump isn't the answer to this divide. And truthfully, I don't know who is...

Why not? I'll gladly state up front that I'm not a fan of Donald's style, and choice of words or actions, on frequent occasions; however, why do you think we have become so divisive in the past few years?

jmo but I think Obama and the media (among others) have not only enabled the divisiveness, but in some ways have actually encouraged it. Just think back to the comments and articles initially stated/published about Trayvon Martin. George Zimmerman is far from being anyone's role model, but Obama and the media tried to turn that unfortunate event into a major racial issue... when race likely had little if anything to do with it. And that's just one example among many.

Maybe... just maybe... what we need right now is a dose of reality where things are actually described and defined as they are - irrespective of race. If we stop reporting things as being divisive when they really aren't, then perhaps the divisiveness will start to diminish.

Amen.

I don't see Trump as the answer but it's an absolute farce that the people most commonly shutting down speech are the ones screeching about injustice and tyranny.

On the Fields issue I'm not doubting she was grabbed but I just watched a video claiming to show the guy grabbed her and from what I see it doesn't look that way or if he did it was for a second at most - the video shows her arm with no hand on it at all.

Clearly there's been some heavy handed issues at some of his events but I'm not sure what the whole story is here.

It's impossible to fight divisiveness with divisiveness.

ETA: I do agree with the majority of your post here though.

The Bolsheviks are trying to Muzzle Trump. They will use any tactic, including violence and intimidation, to do so.

Looks like you bunch of paranoid, inferiority-complexed First Amendment haters are starting to reap what you and your mythical unicorn have been sowing.

I expect your bunch will only get more violent now, as these counterprotests unfortunately have the unintended consequence of fueling your bizarre delusions of persecution and righteousness, all while you Trumpers attempt to silence others.

You're all doing the textbook switcharoo now, where you're the victim, as you claim, so I imagine you all will become even more idiotic and insufferable.
