2016 Election

All this is going to do is piss off all the people supporting Trump, especially the ones that are doing so only because he's not the "establishment".

As you said, this should have been done months ago. Too little too late.

I agree. The establishment treated Trump like Herman Cain and ignored his insane name ID, marketing and bank account.

Basically Trump is a fraud, listed his failed businesses, listed his character flaws, said he would vote for Rubio, Cruz or Kasich, pretty much called him childish (in a more eloquent Romney way) and a blowhard.

I respect the hell out of Romney as a person and as a candidate. And IMO, he was spot on.

However, this conference should have been done two months ago.

If that's what he said then I'm opposite of you; I've lost any respect I had for him.

1) As a candidate he was tarred by his business "failings" where the companies they bought didn't make it or laid people off.

2) As a candidate he was smeared on his taxes.

3) As a candidate he was labeled as a high school bully, animal abuser, someone who didn't hug his trash man and someone that hates poor people.

He knows better and he goes out and does exactly what was done to him to someone running for the nomination in his own party.

He's on par with Harry Reid here - I even expect him to defend it (if it works) by using the Harry "It worked didn't" justification.

I think you mean.

#1 - they ignored his insane name ID
Secondly - his marketing and
Third - his bank account

Nine, nine, nine!

Apparently they can't spell properly either.

Maybe that's what's wrong with Trump :p

Romney was a terrible candidate. He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Kasich. I've heard enough from Cruz to make up my mind about him. He's the last guy on my list of possible vote getters.

I could very easily vote for Kasich, but earlier didn't you say the rest of them "suck balls" so the guy you voted for "sucks balls"?

I said all of the remaining candidates suck balls. And yes Kasich sucks balls also, otherwise with him being the most qualified candidate still in the race he would be doing better.

Best thing Trump can do in response?

Nothing. But his ego won't let him.

I disagree. He'll respond making fun of them, saying "look how much they are scared of me, they're sending out a loser to tell you how scary I am".

And his supporters will eat it up.

It also reeks of desperation, which it is.

The Establishment has forgotten or ignoring what Reagan called the 11th Commandment. "Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican."

McCain has now came out and supports what Romney said in his speech.

The last two loser heroes of the establishment agree.

If I thought for one second the Trump who has done all this talking the past 6 months, was the real Trump and he would try all these programs I would be in. He gave $ to dems, he made statements that only a dem would make and still gives little details on any of his plans. He may not be bought, but he has been buying politicians which to me is no different.

I don't believe for 1 second Trump is a conservative, I hope I am wrong but I think he is fooling millions of Republican voters. I will stay home in November. Surely, as a country we can do better than Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton

I completely understand how you feel. I agree and have said as much here: Trump is not a conservative.

I have huge reservations about voting for him. I wrestled with the possibility in my mind for quite some time. And my reasoning for deciding to vote for him (should he win the nomination) is somewhat vindictive.

I want the party to meltdown. Split. Whatever it takes. They have made a habit of ignoring the people who fought so hard to put them there for too long. Until now, there has been a very small price to pay. Sure, a few scalps here and there. But this is of their own making and I want to see them steamrolled.

I cannot adequately put into words how much I despise what the Republican Party has become and how much I detest the leadership.

That said, I understand and respect your position. Trump is really only a few childish episodes from me coming back to your side.

I'm with you on the Republican party, I despise them also. They disgust me the only thing I am taking from this possible nomination of Trump is maybe/hopefully this opens their eyes to what the folks want.

Most billionaires have given to candidates from both parties, it's business. I don't hold that against him and find it a childish subject.

I look at it this way, he may be a complete fraud, we don't know. We do know Hillary is a complete fraud and liar, that's fact. If Trump is elected and doesn't make an attempt to reform the IRS, the tax code and Obamacare he'll only get 1 term. 1 term that will do less damage that HRC would do.

We are essentially witnessing a political party's murder-suicide. By attempting to murder their candidate, surely they recognize they are killing the party.

My lesser of two evil support will now go to Trump. Whether he runs as an independent or under the GOP ticket, I will be voting for Trump as an FU to the GOP.
