The first 10 year old that gets blown to bits will have the libtards screeching from the highest of bell towers. The wall would not... could not be a build it and forget it proposition. IT would have to be monitored, and continuously maintained. It's a jobs issue.:hi: Actually, who says it has to be a physical wall anyway? With the rapid advancement of drone technology, we could have a cloud of drones flying overhead. Hell they could even be carrying weapons. The DMZ has ground motion sensors. And has landmines that are so old that are easily trigger by tunneling.
I found out an interesting stat about the state of morale in one of our Armed Forces these days.
Apparently the USAF had to put out 25,000 people over five years as part of manning cuts. And in the first 72 hours, 43,000 people applied for an early out.
I'm not sure how retention is going in the other services, but that's almost 15% of the active duty USAF that wanted out.
