The DMZ has ground motion sensors. And has landmines that are so old that are easily trigger by tunneling.
The first 10 year old that gets blown to bits will have the libtards screeching from the highest of bell towers. The wall would not... could not be a build it and forget it proposition. IT would have to be monitored, and continuously maintained. It's a jobs issue.:hi: Actually, who says it has to be a physical wall anyway? With the rapid advancement of drone technology, we could have a cloud of drones flying overhead. Hell they could even be carrying weapons.

Been there? I have.

South Korea started putting them on the DMZ in August of 2013. It was contracted out to Saewan Co and Microsoft and nope. My Engineer Company was suppose to go but we are most likely going to Europe now.

I found out an interesting stat about the state of morale in one of our Armed Forces these days.

Apparently the USAF had to put out 25,000 people over five years as part of manning cuts. And in the first 72 hours, 43,000 people applied for an early out.

I'm not sure how retention is going in the other services, but that's almost 15% of the active duty USAF that wanted out.

Due to too many deployments?

I'll just say that he Army is trying to find ways to kick people out. They have to get rid of I think 40,000 this year. Retention hasn't really been a goal of the Army until of late.

Fox says "Trump offered to appear at the debate" IF the network contributed "$5 million to his charities." You might call that a shakedown

Endless war and garbage leadership tends to drive people out the door.

Heh I still remember this E-7 losing his mind when he found out I was separating. He kept promising a cushy back shop job at Hurlburt Field. I remember asking "As a civilian?". He said no. I said no. He called me a traitor to my country and said I would be homeless and on drugs in six months. haha.

Sorry bro, I'd rather make triple my E-5 salary and NOT be TDY 200 days a year.
