Southpark stopped being funny when they got so heavy into all the gay reference. It sems like every episode had some sort of butt****ing scene. Were it not for that it would be really funny.

SP continues to be spot on and almost always at the forefront of biting, and accurate, social commentary. I understand why some blue hairs can't appreciate it- it's a lot like younger kids today who refuse to play old video games because of the graphics despite how good the old games are. I think that a lot of conservatives sat out the last 2 elections because of McCain and Romney. They saw no point in voting for a so called moderate. A moderate to them is just another liberal.

So Conservatives stayed home? I'd bet they were from the states that glowed Red regardless and had no outcome on the Electoral numbers only the total votes. So nothing would have changed....

I read an article that said that voter turnout was down to 58% in the 2012 election, and that if whites and blacks had voted at the rates that they normally did, that Romney would be President today.

The article went on to say that whites were unenthused about Romney, and that blacks voted in far greater numbers than usual for Obama. Overall, the vote was down because a larger percentage of white voters stayed home.

They said that not only would the 5 million vote deficit have been made up with the number of whites that voted in 2004, but Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, and Colorado would have gone Repub , thereby giving the electoral college win to Romney.
