They should thank the entire Republican party for the inability to produce a winner.
Yeah I can't argue with that, and I don't like many of the candidates we now have, but voting third party or deep out of the money candidates ensure that LG gets to celebrate another nail in the coffin of the American dream. If we could just find a Latin woman to run, we would be golden.

I am not a Biden supporter, but I would seriously consider voting for him simply because I think he would compromise with R's on a lot of issues. Guys we need that now more than ever.

Are you ****ting me? They compromise way too much. That's why an ungodly amount of bills are passed each year and government is growing explosively.

We need less compromise.

Yeah that "lesser of two evils" crap had worked wonders for the GOP.

Nominate bètter candidates, don't blame the independent voter because they refuse to vote for the idiotic major party loser nominees.

C'mon Gramps, you know exactly what I am talking about. The liberals will vote for their nominee just because their nominee is a democrat. Like football, you cannot win without good defense. They must laugh their arses off at the argument we have on this. I know I would if I were in their position. There is no third party. There will NEVER be a third party. Be "independent" if you want, but voting for anyone other than one of the two candidates is a vote for the democrat.

I think most would agree that Romney would have been a better POTUS than Obama, largely because the bar has been set very low.

And if an independent voter wants to "waste" their vote, then that is absolutely their right to do so. But then they shouldn't complain about Obama being in the white house when it was their vote that helped put him there.

So basically....the lesser of two evils? For the 3rd or 4th election in a row now?
It will be that way from here on out until this country is destroyed by the liberals. Welcome to reality.

...or maybe Ralph Nader really has a chance this year.

wake up people. It's gonna be HRC (probably) or whoever the Rs nominate. Take your pick, but I'll bet my entire net worth on it.

I'm laughing that you seem to think there's some monumental difference between the 2 parties.

Also you seem to ignore that the GOP is no different in if they do win by people holding their noses and voting for them, then they assume everyone loves them so they don't really do anything to change.

Not going down that road on this thread. Vote for one or the other, but holding some sort of protest vote for Rand Paul or Mickey Mouse is a vote for the democrats. Period.

And HRC will destroy what's left of the middle class.

Only slightly quicker than if the GOP candidate wins.

The D's will vote for their nominee, the R's will vote for their nominee, period. They just look at the R or D beside the name.

The presidential eleçtions are won or lost by the independent voters. Nominate a candidate that will sell to the middle and win the WH. It is a simple procedure that the R's of today have a difficult time in understanding.

Romney was a terrible candidate. He has a record of flip flopping as much as if not more than John Kerry. Again you want the R to win the WH nominate better candidates.

That's true, but as evidenced on here, there are far more Rs that are willing to cast a vote for some sort of third option. Dems will.... not.... do... that... period. They will pull for the liberal, not matter how inept or criminal she is.

Like what? What have they compromised on? Immigration? Healthcare? Abortion?

They have compromised on nothing and that is why as of now Trump is the nominee.

Based off his policies in 2012 and his rhetoric at the debates at that time, I would vote Romney over everyone in the field at this point. (except Rand of course)

It's their own fault. They've spent the past six years undermining, not just Obama and the Dems, but even their own institutional leadership. They've created such false expectations about electing "a true conservative," they they have set themselves up to fail.

*Gasp* I agree. With Boehner and McConnell running the show...

I don't really care whether or not the nominee is a "true conservative" or not personally. I just don't want another Marxist dipping back into my wallet.

Do you have factual numbers to back that statement or is that your opinion ?

I am far from an Obama fan but I will say things are much better now than the day he took office. George W Bush did more damage to this nation in his 8 years in office than anyone else in my lifetime.

You must have been pretty high during the LBJ years.

That is one of the privileges of being an American voter. You are allowed to vote for the loser of your choice. :)
