Normal Person: "You know, LG, although I often disagree with you, the amount of physical violence actually present at Trump rallies is kind of alarming. I wish Trump would stop condoning it and would get a hold of these acts instead."

Violence committed against liberals because of violence committed by liberals..its a vicious cycle.

and the "violence" is minimal and often made from the same things of fairy tales.

Trump needs to grow a set and condemn this crap.

The funniest part is that the reporter who was assaulted is from Breitbart. Now the Breitbart comment section is having a mutiny over Breitbart daring to speak ill of Trump's non-existent response to the incident.

So he switched from a Johnson in 64 to a Tricky Dick in 68?

Edit: I just remembered that Hubert Humphrey ran in 68, so Gramps didn't get a chance to vote against Johnson in 68. I saw both Humphrey and Nixon live in Knoxville, and I believe it was either the Coliseum or possibly Stokley.

Speaking of Trump needing to grow a pair, what happened to American masculinity, where now being a whiny little pubescent on Twitter is "tough" and "manly"?

Even if it was mostly a poor man's construct of proper masculinity (devoid of the intellectualism of masculinity that the ancients also held, in addition to physical toughness), associating masculinity with simply being physically tough, at least American men were actually willing to suffer pain in the past in order to be proven "tough."

And now apparently it's just that you simply rant constantly on Twitter and in public which suffices.

Well played. I am from A.J.'s hometown, and didn't make the connection with Gramps and politics back in the 1800's.

Gramps must have been delegate to the Democratic Convention in 1868, and helped stop A.J. from even getting the Dem. nomination.

I know what you mean. I hardly ever go to an event where there are a lot of older white guys in the stands when one of them doesn't slug a black guy.
