He's at 49% in this morning CNN poll. Rubio and Cruz are at 15%

The remarkable thing is Trump gets 50% of men, 49% of Women, 47% under 55 y/o, 50% over 55 y/o. 46% college grads, 50% no college

And trump hasn't put his gloves on with Hillary. The first time the Clinton machine went after trump it didn't go so well.

trump is going to pick up a uuuge amount of blue voters should he be the nominee. The question is will it offset the red guys who won't get to the polls for him.

Is there any Republican that could jump in the race and turn the tide? I can't think of one.

The field is the field. It's too late to join the race.

The only reason D's are even entertaining the idea is because they know Bernie won't resonate with most American's principles and they know deep down that Hillary landing in the middle of a criminal scandal is a real possibility.

Here in the U.S., had that been any average American they would already be doing life in the federal lockup and would have been paraded in front of the country as a traitor.

Rubio is doing an event at the Intercontinental Hotel in buckhead. Obviously trying to get the "salt of the earth" vote. The hotel has a Rolls Royce parked out front 24-7 for their VIP clients. Apparently Rubio has lost his voice and literally can't speak.

I believe Trump will pull a bunch of normal democrat voters to his side before the election. I think it will surprise a lot of people.

Agree that Dem voters could help Trump, but not by voting for him in the general. There is plenty of disdain for Hillary on the left, no question. There's also a ton of contempt for Trump by these same folks. I think they help Trump by not turning out to vote. Some will vote for him, but his biggest benefit will be them staying home.

Off topic of the point I just made, but what is the deal with Warren? Why do so many Dems look at her as a future player in the party. Most others look at her and snicker.

I am not an expert on her detailed politics so I'll answer this in a very general manner.

1) She is intelligent and communicates well. We all know about Dershowitz commenting on the intelligence of Cruz, but he's also spoken about Warren's. He's made statements singling out Cruz and Warren as two of the smartest members of the Senate.

2) She has charisma. I was astounded at the level of support she generated with those on the left. The Warren support spread like wildfire, and her ability to connect with people and fire them up is a key component of her allure.

3) A sort of political Goldilocks effect. Just as we see many GOP pushing for candidates further right, Warren's ideology seems to be in the left's 'sweet spot' - not as extreme left as Sanders but left of Clinton. Seems to be a popular spot with many on the left today.

You know we don't like it when you're the voice of reason around here...

The Democratic obsession with Warren is largely like some Republican obsessions with un-electable politicians in the past. I think there's a myopic mindset that each side has that essentially rhetorically posits the question, "How could you not like this person the way we like this person?" when, in reality, the rest of America just doesn't share the ideological fervor that makes one believe that these politicians are great. It's an inability to see things the way the majority of Americans see things.

He's not going to be able to lay a glove on her when he's asked in a debate to explain his stance on the Central Park 5.

I was watching a segment on CNN last night about the college kid being held in North Korea, when it dawned on me...

If Donald Trump was a country, he'd be North Korea. And here's why:

1. Both have an amazing inferiority complex, and only god knows why. Each has to prove to you that they're the best.
2. Neither can handle criticism, even of the rational, legitimate kind.
3. If either has not had any attention in the past hour or two, then each will throw a temper tantrum until the media pays them attention again and babysits.
4. Both are loud and obnoxious.
5. Both are only concerned with appearance and think that substance matters not.
6. Each has a strong authoritarian streak, yet both think they're "democratic."
7. Both want to fundamentally change America.
8. Each prefers that people be really dumb and "poorly educated."
9. Just when you think you couldn't possibly see or hear anything dumber from them, both go and do something even dumber.
10. Both believe in taking out the families of those who have harmed it.
11. Both really hate foreigners, or anyone who might be "suspicious."

The only difference I can think of between the two is that one is completely dark at night while the other still glows.

Displaced Disney Workers: Shame on You Marco Rubio; We Stand With Trump - Breitbart

Dena Moore and Leo Perrero were two Disney workers who were informed that they were going to be laid off during the holiday season of 2014. They—along with scores of their colleagues—were told that before they were let go, they’d be forced to train their low-skilled foreign replacements brought in on H-1B visas. Earlier this week, Perrero testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about the humiliation he was forced to endure by training his foreign replacement. While Donald Trump has called on Disney to hire back all of these workers and has pledged to end H-1B job theft as President, Sen. Marco Rubio has pushed to expand the controversial H-1B program—he has introduced two bills that would dramatically boost the issuances of H-1Bs. As recently as last year, Rubio introduced a bill—endorsed by Disney’s CEO Bob Iger via his immigration lobbying firm—that would triple the issuances of H-1Bs. Disney is one of Sen. Rubio’s top financial backers—having donated more that $2 million according to Open Secrets.

What are you talking about? If you're referring to the 'choker' thing, Rubio was referring to a deleted tweet where Trump spelled it 'chocker'. I know a lot of people have been misrepresenting the vid.

Except Rubio spelled it out correctly and still thought it was pronounced "chocker".

I've said before. The DNC and Clinton campaign have more then enough ammo on Trump to turn out the vote and bring back together the Obama coalition.

I just find it rather suspicious he is stalling on releasing his tax statements with Super Tuesday looming.

Romney said there would be a bombshell. Perhaps something big enough that his support would drop like a rock.

Yeah his words were confused but the tweet he was reading spelled 'choker' as 'chocker', hence his pronunciation when reading it out was correct. I think the reason he said it was less about the spelling and more about the absurd tweets that a presidential candidate is sending out.

The only way that the Dems can win is to stir up and scare the blacks, the LGBT's, the Hispanics, the SS recipients, the single women, the people on welfare, etc. enough to get out and vote.

I hate it when I have to agree with your posts.

Though I'd say that number would rise in the general.

Obviously his GOP number would go way up, if for no other reason than voting against HRC. You just have to wonder about the enthusiasm factor. Of course, if we're being honest, there's not a lot of enthusiasm for her, either.

I don't know about "way" up.

Record Republican primary voters in virtually every primary and caucus state, including early voting for Super Tuesday.

Tomorrow will be Super TrumpDay.

CNN poll asked non-Trump supporting Republicans if they'd support him in general:
Probably not support him 13%
Definitely not support him35%
