2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I don't think you understand it either.

Everyones personal freedom violates another persons freedom.

If drugs were legal like you wanted, all personal freedoms would be violated.

I'm still waiting for an explanation on this?

Hopefully it was that you were incredibly drunk and that you really don't believe this stupid ****

You're gonna have to explain how that works. If one feels he isn't good enough to vote for/support in the primary, how does he suddenly become good enough to support vs merely being an anti-Hillary vote?

He suddenly becomes 1972.

Does it disarm and disturb you this much that someone is capable of seeing the world in gray, instead of simple black or white?

As I've said, I support Hillary over Trump - given only those two options in reality - for nothing more than the fact that she's a tax payer(a tax cheat as evidenced by the investigation of her foundation), behaves seriouslyAre we thinking of the same woman? She's anything but serious) (if still a fraud), is a more manly leader(I'll give you this one.), and is saneThat's a matter of some debate.). That's pretty much it.

I will not celebrate with a Hillary win the way you will with a Trump. I know what this means for our country. But I cannot in good faith support or elect a perennial manchild who is most likely insane.

Hillary has violated national security putting classified intel at risk, and hindered prosecution both through lies, and through destruction of evidence. What's more, she has supported people lying on her behalf. Rumors suggest she has done far worse, but those are just rumors. What is known is she has been tied to scandal after scandal. She's admitted to impropriety. She is in no way fit to be POTUS.

I would have become one of Pol Pot's biggest supporters if the Republicans had nominated him against Hillary. Hitler....check. Idi Amin.....yep. Benito Mussolini..... uh huh. Josef Stalin......I would donate money. Genghis Khan......I would work the polls for him.

Even your attempts at humor smell of Cheeto.

VP, here's what I have gathered about your online persona(as it pertains to VN). You're one quarter serious, three quarters troll. You're an egotist. You mistakenly believe you are better than others(and I assure you, you are mistaken). Because of this belief you will never be able to have a serious conversation with anyone on this site, no matter how hard they try(and I've tried). There's a huge difference between being comfortable in one's skin and being arrogant. Arrogance is not an attractive trait.

Pretty much this. Gave you a like.

You've told me absolutely nothing I don't know, although your edits of my original post are a bit kooky.

Even so, none of that matters when it comes to Trump. That's how bad your Cheeto King is, in my most unhumble opinion. He's a tax evading con artist sissy boy, who is insane and can't be taken seriously. If you can take him seriously, then that is all the worse for you.

I wasn't trying to be funny. The Clintons are way up there on the chart of crooked politicians. I guess someone has to top the list.

How am I even supposed to respond to this? You're to be taken seriously but, then again, you're not? Go sleep this one off; you're being weird again.

I don't understand how many times you half-literates have to be told that I don't care about your Judeo-Christian notions of false humility. I don't pretend to be humble and respectful to others out of the sense of looking good or being rewarded. I don't believe in making things as significant as respect and humility mere pretend shows for personal gain.

There are only three types of people I give my respect and humility to: the intelligent, the noble, and those of proper authority. Random online posters who are none of these, I couldn't care less about.

Your post means absolutely nothing to me.

Other than sissy boy, the exact same can be said of Hillary. The difference is she has knowingly put American lives at risk unnecessarily. She has knowingly violated national security because it made her life easier. Personally, I can't overlook those actions.

How is one a tax evader if he pays whatever taxes he is supposed to pay under the law?

You are one of those "random online posters" yet in the past I have still offered you respect. It has nothing to do with religious values. It's civility. Showing people respect is not some sign of weakness. You do it because it's the polite thing to do until others disrespect you. Even then, it's better to rise above such petty behavior.

For the longest time, I couldn't make sense out of the cognitive dissonance of the Trumpers.

Then, one day, I had a moment of enlightenment. I realized that Trumpers are half-literate. The proof was many of the posters on this site, who can hardly read. Some can hardly even put together a coherent point.

Once I realized this fact, everything made sense. Trump made sense. Trumpers made sense. Trumpism made sense.

Well if you could put two simple thoughts together, it's simple.

1 ANYBODY but Hiliary.

2 The GOP needs to be sent to hell. You have to destroy it to save what it is supposed to be.

It's simple really.

I think the reason VP hates Trump so much is that they are alike in many ways. Trump is a much better showman and promoter than VP though. They share an arrogance, a sharp wit, and a willingness, no a desire, to demean others.

Are saying these are good traits that we should look for?

There is no saving it. It's gone to the liberals now. Libertarians are the only Conservative party now.

Maybe I didn't state "destroy" plainly enough - how about like a Phoenix out of the ashes. Anyway, both the GOP and especially the Dims are making the rounds on talk shows - that alone should tell you all you need to know about big segments of their flocks.

Libertarians are so weird they basically aren't in the conversation Maybe if they were the only party at the beginning, but they are just too far separated from the reality of the time to be in play - and that doesn't mean I completely disagree with a lot of the concepts.

You have to have a great speaker and a platform to sell the idea, they have neither - one poor joke after another - even a long shot like Ralph Nader has managed to look more like a competitor than anyone the Libertarian party has ever dredged up. Ross Perot and George Wallace have run rings around any kind of Libertarian performance. It is almost certainly a "never will be" party - likely absolutely no factor even in this race of the worst candidates the country has ever seen.

One of the differences between you and me, besides bigotry, is that should Hillary be elected, I will not celebrate. I'll understand our fate fully, but understand it is still a fate preferable to Trump. Should Trump be elected, however, you'll have no such remorse.

You crack me up.

I shouldn't have lumped you in with the half-literates, that is true. For that I apologize.

It's just that I've said multiple times on here that I have a different understanding of respect and humility than most in our society do. But, perhaps you missed those times, granted.

As for the rest of my comment, I stand by it fully. I would also add a fourth type of person that merits my respect and humility - those in my service.

The reason I loathe Trump so much is that he has demonstrated to me the danger of populism, the danger of the masses. Disabused of the veil of civility and cooperation, the people are fanatics.

Trump has demonstrated to me that education matters. Class matters. Hierarchy matters. Order matters. Only these things can keep the fanaticism of the people in check.
