As for walking in on pageant contestants, my understanding of pageants is they are set up like modeling shows. If that's the case, the entire backstage is a dressing area, and everyone involved in the pageant needs access. Contestants are aware of this going in, but surrender their right to privacy as a cost of competing. Competing is a choice, not a right.
