You touch on one of the biggest intellectual flaws of the left. They assume when people are anti illegal immigration (or not law abiding in general) that they must be against all immigrants. Its a sad and narrow minded world the modern liberal lives in. That's why they are a miserable bunch and often unsatisfied with their lives.

They don't believe that, it's simply a lie to avoid having an intelligent debate about a topic. You are racist so everything that comes out of your mouth is invalid.

Black/hispanic/female senators, congressional reps and supreme court justices.
Governors of all ethnicities and genders.
Gay marriage legal more now than at any time in history.

the majority of Americans don't want illegal immigrants, drug dealers, or terrorists potentially coming across the border. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

Terrorist are crossing the border? And why don't you want illegal immigrants? The drugs is an entirely different issue, and immigration isn't the issue there, drug laws are

The ironic thing is I'm willing to bet 100% of the politicians that keep telling us how racist it is to have a fence or wall or any kind of border security probably all have fences around their houses to keep all us regular folk off their property.

Funny you mention white resentment. We recently hired an Indian (dot not feather) legal immigrant, guy works his azz off and I am hearing complaints from some of the black guys on his crew that he is illegal, can't speak Engrish and he needs to go. They even asked my ops manager if we were going to start hiring Mexicans.
