2016 Election Thread Part Deux

As if 80% of this board doesn't have a disturbing obsession with Obama, lol.

He's the president, he deserves what he gets from us on here. Some people here defend everything he does. I voted for Bush and I'm not afraid to say he made mistakes, unlike Dumbocrats because they know no wrong unless it's Republican.

Yeah, and trump is a presidential candidate, so.. not really sure that's a great reason for making a distinction.

Not like his man. It's not natural. He acts like Trump stole his bike or high school girlfriend.

Literally people have acted like that towards Obama here for years.

It's a whole new world out there when you choose to see both sides instead of just seeing what you want to see

Mercy, Percy, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the meltdown.

And let's not paint the whole mob with a single brush. There are plenty here who will not support Trump. I'd say it's closer to 50% than 90%.

I tried that once. Ex wife was already in bed watching TV. I eased in the kitchen, for water and 2 tylenols. Presented her with them, she says what's that for? I said for your headache, she said I don't have a headache, I said great, lets f***. I slept on the couch for 2 nights. Lol

I love this post.

So, which part of Canada are you moving to when he's elected?
I don't know if I said this before, but this weekend I was having a drink with a couple of Canuks and they said if Trump were elected that THEY would build a wall. I wish I would have told them that I don't blame them that we don't want all the progressive liberals either.

Oooo, manufacturing. That makes sense. You're supporting the guy who wants to eliminate your completion and essentially create a work for welfare program for you, paid for by the rest of the nation.
As opposed to you who wants continued government schools to have a monopoly?

Holy crap. I'm one of the last people that work for a company that actually makes something in this country.

My company has been destroyed by Chinese imports and you're accusing me of wanting to eliminate my competition?

I guarantee the rest of the nation is not supporting my ass.
You should be ashamed. Your company probably makes a profit as well.. Evil evil evil

Man isn't this the truth. I never hear progressives criticize the Messiah. Never.

It makes me chuckle to see how much the situation has changed in the last month with regards to this election. A month ago, the GOP Convention was going to be a disaster with political infighting like we've never seen before and the DNC Convention was going to be a land of rainbows and unicorns where everyone was happy.

Yeah, about that...

Anyway, Rubio has popped back up again.

Marco Rubio says he plans to attend the Republican convention, will release his delegates to vote for Donald Trump and would be willing to speak on Trump's behalf.

"I want to be helpful. I don't want to be harmful, because I don't want Hillary Clinton to be president," Rubio told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview.

"Look, my policy differences with Donald Trump -- I spent 11 months talking about them. So I think they're well understood," Rubio said. "That said ... I don't want Hillary Clinton to be president. If there's something I can do to help that from happening, and it's helpful to the cause, I'd most certainly be honored to be considered for that."

I like normal Rubio so much more than scripted campaign Rubio.

I believe regardless of his comments about not wanting to be VP, I think if he's asked there's a good chance he'll join the ticket. It's been an unusual election season so far and even though they are different politically on so many levels, the oil and water mix could be what the ticket needs. Trump just has to "make a good deal" on convincing him to come on board.

Trump needs Florida in November. I think he's sewn up Ohio and can carry it with a favorable endorsement from Kasich and he will (likely) take Pennsylvania, but Florida would be a tough State to carry. Rubio can help deliver it.

Rubio was my pick anyway, based solely on platform, so I would love to see this. If he's comes aboard you gonna vote trump gv?

Marco is still pretty young too. If he is willing to be VP and for some instance Trump wins he can be VP for 4 or 8 years and run for Prez again.

Not sure. I still am not a fan of Trump, but I'm less of a fan of Hillary. However, regardless of the way I vote, Oklahoma is in the bag for Trump so I don't consider my vote wasted if I go Libertarian.
