I've heard a significant number of trump supporters use the same logic. Voting for him because he's hated, not because they like his stances.

They're both idiots.

Hahaha I like how Carl Lewis tried to pump up the crowd then throws it 8 feet. How do people grow up not learning how to throw a ball? I find it weird. Bush had the best presidential 1st pitch ever, that dude threw a perfect strike right after 9/11

I disagree. I think Trump supporters are voting anti establishment. Big difference imo. Hence why none of the other GOP candidates made the cut with the voters. Hillary is run of the mill typical politician.

I don't think the numbers matter as much as the point they are making.

They don't want their lives in her hands. She obviously isn't concerned with their welfare.

I don't believe this at all, I never once heard a word about Benghazi...ever. Friends with many people in all branches of service and this has never been a topic of conversation.

The biggest concern (and just from conversations I've had) is lack of resources and pay. The military is full of old broken equipment, planes, etc. Technology is leading the way and people want to use IPads instead of TOs, make sure you have the tools to be affective in doing your job. Better computers, better toolboxes etc. The last few bases I was at had state of the art gyms, tracks, turf soccer fields for group PT but you had to go spend your own money on computer paper cause the "funds" weren't there to buy it.

Lastly, pay these people!!! Give them a raise, it's gotten better but there is no reason a person in the military should have to resort to food stamps to make ends meet. Quit charging for on base/post childcare for the ranks of E-5 and below, it's ridiculous what people have to pay.

And I agree. Pay them. I have bought service members lunches on several occasions.

What got it started was I witnessed one of them not being able to pay for his because his debit card was declined. I motioned to the waitress it was on me. All 4 of them.

I felt bad for that soldier and to keep him from being embarrassed I picked up the tab.

Yea it's not an easy life and as someone who's been in those guys situation, things like that are much appreciated. I'm very fortunate that in my post military life I have more financial freedom, but I do miss those 30 vacation days a year.

I remember when I first joined i took about a 70% pay reduction, that was tough. Had I been married or with kids, it would have been awful. I hope whoever goes into office does something to help those who serve, most of them need it

Thanks OB, you are a great American. I'd bet there some on here (not pointing fingers) that wouldn't do that. You know who they are.

This **** is ridiculous, I'm sure Mitch McConnel is an outstanding person who struggles day to day to make ends meet. I would love to see all politicians live on a military wage for about 6 months. I'm not just talking Republicans I'm talking Democrats too, most have no clue what troops go through, well unless they see it on the news
