Sure it can.. capitalism is why the country is where it's at today... Everybody knows the economy is in trouble and nobody wants to go to the source to fix it.
Don't like most of his policies but Bernie is pro second amendment. I also agree with him about citizens United needing to be overturned
As bad as the country is right now, it's a paradise compared to most countries carrying the socialism flag. I passionately love my personal freedoms. The only thing I want right now is the government to stop taking the money I earn and let me live.

Capitalism brings prosperity. Socialism (or what Bernie calls socialism, at least) is just a way of managing it. It "works" when you're sitting on a pile of wealth due to natural resources, free market policies, or exorbitant taxes, like Norway or Denmark. Venezuela and Greece know what it's like when you aren't.
There is no way Americans will accept that kind of tax burden.
Yes.. if you are one of the few capitalists in this country. Everybody else is just making money for the capitalist... until they send your job oversees and get somebody cheaper to make them more money.

Bernie wants free college for all..if we were to tax the 1% at 100% it would raise 1 trillion in revenue...student debt right now is 1.2 trillion..he couldn't even pay for what is already owed now forget free college going forward.
United States. The Economist reported in June 2014 that U.S. student loan debt exceeded $1.2 trillion, with over 7 million debtors in default. Public universities increased their fees by a total of 27% over the five years ending in 2012, or 20% adjusted for inflation.
Bernie did pretty well tonight, but he's going to get stomped in the NY primary. It's a closed primary and the deadline to register as a Democrat was in October. I bet a lot of people are going to show up and be disappointed when they can't vote.

Does the 1.2 trillion figure only consists of public universities? Or does it take into account of private universities as well?
There are better ways to bring back jobs from over seas. Tax incentives for companies who maintain 90% of their manufacturing and work force in the United States. Just to name one. But, changing what this country was built on isn't one I'm willing to do.
Most aren't and that's why we will be dealing with bigger problems. They threw credit at it in the 70's to fix the problem(people could borrow so they could buy) and we see how that turned out. Be interesting to see what they throw at it this time. It's only going to get worse cause nobody goes to the source of the problem... capitalism is too sacred of an idea even if it is killing you.
