PKT does bring up a pretty huge disconnect I myself have often tried to figure out from the pro-life perspective. If you believe that abortion is murder, no different than you shooting your neighbor in cold blood, then surely it follows that you would believe the mother should be persecuted for killing the child... She should be put in prison just like serial killers and gang bangers, or, if you believe in the death penalty, be put to death for her crime.. right? Is that not the logical conclusion if you do believe it is murder?
If you're trying to make an argument from pragmatism, it does not work in favor of the pro-life side. The pro-life argument has to be made from a moral perspective, and again, if that is the case and abortion is in fact murder, you should be consistent in your beliefs at the very least regarding punishment.
I agree. I've heard similar arguments for not believing in rape or incest exceptions. It may seem cruel, but it's the logically consistent position.
Thought this was interesting..Hillary has won 17 states and Sanders has 15 and they basically tied in Iowa and Massachusetts (even though Clinton has a big delegate lead)..I expect Bernie to win the next two in Wisconsin and Wyoming..making them tied in states and giving Sanders the last 7 wins..then there would be a 10 day break before NY..if Sanders wins there then it gets interesting with the super delegates imo
Explain. I think that he was probably born in Hawaii, but the birth certificate is a fake. What is the problem?
A Lot of people on here has said or believe that Trump being at the top the Republican ballot doesn't hurt other Republican candidates on the ballot. The polls are saying other wise.
"Trumps effect on the down ballot: Voters 2x less likely to vote for Senate GOP candidate."

Donald Trump has said he can hardly remember the last time he apologized, but the GOP presidential front-runner on Sunday expressed at least some regret after a series of campaign missteps.
"I guess not" Trump said on Fox News Sunday, when asked during a taped interview about whether last week was the best of his campaign.
But on Sunday, the New York real estate magnate said hes been a politician for just eight months and is still learning.
There is always a learning curve, he said.
Trump said on CNN last week that he couldnt exactly recall when he last apologized, perhaps when his mother scolded him for using profanity.
So is MSNBC doing it just to be antagonistic towards the GOP?
Provided anyone actually watched their network of course.
Fox right now is 90 percent email scandal, 10 percent apoplexy about Trump. That's all they talk about. But it's good click bait for their natural audience.
Why do you think the Benghazi committee is mum right now? Just waiting for best moment for their political hatchet job. So predictable. So pathetic.
Pathetic is your defense of anything surrounding this Administration. Even when facts smack you in the face, you love to ignore them and troll on and on and on.
But keep up the good fight in thinking nothing will come of this email probe. She may not serve a day in jail, she may get pardoned by Obama, but make no mistake this situation has enough heat that something will happen.
