Excuses I've heard:

Trump supporters are younger and are less likely to have landlines. (give me a break - the elderly vote is carrying him)
Trump supporters don't answer their phones.
The pollsters don't poll blue-collar workers, who apparently will vote for Trump in droves.
The pollsters are "biased" toward the establishment.

Romney lost before the election even started. The fact is Obama, despite his numerous faults, is an amazing campaigner and vote organizer. His machine was unstoppable. On top of that, not that I care, a Mormon doesn't electrify the evangelical base.

You lose because you will not put up a fight when you need it the most.

You lose because you refuse to differentiate yourself from your opponent.

You lose because you refuse to engage the base with the kind of conservative policies that will energize it to join the fight with you.

A weathy venture capitalist when the country had a very unfavorable view of anything that could remotely be construed as "Wall Street".

None of that matters to some on the right. It's because they were conservative enough. Sigh.

not only win 7 states he has to get the majority of delegates(51%) as opposed to a plurality of them(split three ways)

It's going to be Trump as nominee. I agree. He is going to get raped in the general. You can disagree with that all you want but the fact remains the center decides these elections. Do you honestly believe centrists will break for Trump.

I believe the Republican party better pull it's head out and start helping present Trump as something more than the class clown who seeks and gets attention because reality will start settling in pretty soon.

Actually, all three candidates said nice things about Rubio tonight. Trump was surprising, but I thought it was a nice gesture on his part.

Yet Gramps is correct, only one begged for his supporters.

Yet no one can answer why in every poll he is the only who loses to Hillary. Every poll. Cruz beats her, close but wins, and Kasich and Rubio clean her clock.

I get the anger with the establishment. I agree with lots of it. The fact remains no one near center, who are the ones who decides these things, goes Trump. I get he has some Union support. That's taken away by Hispanics who usually vote republican.
