2016 Election Thread Part Deux

He just hasn't thought these issues through. It's obvious.

That whole exchange was spoken just like a liberal who has no idea what conservatives actually believe. Most pro-lifers don't even agree with what he said with regards to punishing women, partly because it's completely untenable and also partly because they recognize it's a very complex issue. And you're right, it's pretty obvious that he couldn't care less about these issues - which makes it even more scary that he released a statement an hour later saying the exact opposite once he received backlash from people on both sides of the spectrum, and that his position had been "consistent".

HRC has to be rejoicing. Trump has come down like manna from the heavens.

Good thing he's the only candidate running with bad judgement who will be in over their head as POTUS and has trouble getting along with others.

I've yet to hear Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton say they wouldn't hesitate to use nuclear weapons but I did hear Trump say that last night.

As is always the case with Trump. He makes ignorant statements that tend to also mess up things for conservatives, who'll have to pick up the pieces.

And just like Hillary supporters and Obama supporters before them, the Trumpkins just won't care.

Yeah, he was exposed again in that interview. We're flocked any which way this goes.

Only good thing I can see coming from this election cycle is a possible shift in power away from the establishment on both sides.

Who are these conservatives you speak of? Neither Cruz or Kasich are conservative.

I notice you said "again" as it continually happens over and over again. Say what you want about Rubio, but he hit the nail on the head when he said Trump repeats the same five things over and over again. And has zero substance to back anything up.

And you can say what you want about the "establishment" candidates, but even with them placating to the masses, they at least know WTF they are talking about and have some sort of idea what they would like to do. Call it election year theatrics if you want, but good grief, they very rarely get caught short on anything.

In other news of this year's elections:

Muslim congressional candidate says Reid dissuaded him from running because of his religion | Las Vegas Review-Journal

A Democrat running for the open 3rd Congressional District seat says U.S. Sen. Harry Reid dissuaded him from running, saying because he’s Muslim he cannot win the race.

Jesse Sbaih, a Henderson attorney who immigrated from Jordan with his family at age 11, sent out a fundraising email blast to supporters Tuesday headlined: “Don’t let Harry Reid and the Washington elites decide who you can vote for.”

“Basically, I was told I would not be able to win because of my religion and ethnicity,” he said. “I said, ‘I respectfully disagree with you.’ I believe in the goodness and the spirit of the American people. The American people have embraced me since I’ve been to this country and I’ve embraced them back as an adopted son.”

Recalling what Reid told him, Sbaih said: “I think the quote was: ‘Let me be blunt, you’re not going to win the race because you’re a Muslim.’”

Yeah, they don't ask Hillary the tough questions. Oh have you noticed that Huma isn't by her side anymore? Guess why. IMO is Hillary is protecting her from the media firestorm.

He's been exposed in every debate.

Even though I feel Rubio is woefully under qualified for the job I would have voted for him in the general.

Hillary tweeted Donald Trump is responsible for his staff's actions.

LMAO!! Guess she isn't responsible.

*thats gonna come back and bite her in the cankles.

Win some hearts and minds...

Police: Teen pepper sprayed at Donald Trump rally - CNNPolitics.com

A 15-year-old girl was pepper sprayed and said she was groped Tuesday during a protest outside Donald Trump's rally in Janesville, Wisconsin, according to local police, one of several incidents at the event that required law enforcement.

The teenager said she was groped by a male in the crowd, then was pepper-sprayed by another individual after she pushed him away, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department. A 19-year-old woman was also hit by second-hand pepper spray, police said.

Have you watched the video? She is 19, according to the story I read, and you can hear her say on the video that she deserved the pepper spraying that came immediately after she punched a man.

Of course I didn't watch the video! Who would do that?

There was a bystander (19 years old) that got hit as well. Or was secondary contamination.

I'm missing where she thought she had it coming to her.

She is 19, according to what I read(and she looks it), and was arguing with a gray headed man, and carrying a vulgar blm sign, and using the f word every other breath. The argument escalated, the man backed away, and she punched him in the side of his face.

Someone behind the man who got punched got her immediately with the pepper spray. She was wearing glasses, but got quite a face full. As she turned away, I could hear her say "I deserved that." There are about 4 different videos. You will have to search for the right one. She did deserve it from what I saw. I would have knocked her flat on her ass, and I have never come close to hitting a woman.

There was an angle where she walked off saying "I deserved that" after throwing the punch.

I'm guessing the "groping" thing came later when someone realized there was publicity to be had.

Link?

Not that I don't believe you, but I'd love to see it for myself.
