2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Look at it this way. When Clinton beats him like a drum, Fox can shriek every day for four years and make some money, and you guys here can continue your right wing circle jerk about how she ought to be in prison and killed 50 people and blah blah blah.

You'll have hairy Sasquatch hands and be blind as a bat within 6 months if this happens

So what will pro-Hilary people be saying during and after four years? Best case scenario....I'd love to know. Include the part about the left wing finger blasting, please.

The people that voted for Trump will be at fault for Hilary being elected. They should have voted for a viable candidate.

Oh...we gonna do THAT win or lose, fam.

Sure wish the news would at least mention Johnson once and a while. They love to talk about how unpopular Trump and Clinton are; the natural other piece to that story would be to talk about alternatives and see what they think.

Same is true for virtually any Republican but Trump.

The parties managed to find the worst possible choices to represent them.

QFT. People in here who hate Clinton act as if the other choice is some sort of prize. We're screwed either way, just for different reasons.

That's what happens when people get caught up in "sending a message" but don't realize (or don't care) that the message goes way above and beyond what most Americans want to hear. I'm pretty sure whoever wins the presidency this year will be a one-termer, but there's always the chance that the GOP might double down on insanity.

We can complain all day about how Rubio and Kasich weren't conservative enough (although they assuredly are most conservative than Trump on most issues), but those guys had the best chance of attracting new voters without alienating those already in the fold.

Smart on his part. The 2,000 people in the country who actually are dumb enough to oppose this will vote for him anyway.

I oppose it until the due process issues of the no fly list are cleared up.

No need to violate the 5th amendment so we can remove someone's 2nd amendment right.

Which is pretty much the NRA's reply:

NRA
@NRA
Happy to meet @realdonaldtrump. Our position is no guns for terrorists—period. Due process & right to self-defense for law-abiding Americans

Specifically that "due process" line.

A lot of people don't even know they are mistakenly on it. This will tell them, they can get removed.

Oh so it's really going to help these people? Awesome!

The problem is getting off it. Currently the government is not obligated to provide the reasons you are on there. They don't have to tell you what they've decided once you challenge your name on the list.

The language explaining and process for being placed on the watch list is vague.

In short, getting removed is very difficult even if you are completely innocent.

I'm guessing you didn't read any of the critiques of the process.
