2016-2017 Vols

Parker 6'2" 165lbs
Bone 6'2" 175lbs
Bowden 6'5" 178lbs
Johnson 6'6" 175lbs
Fulkerson 6'8" 215lbs

Seems like many thought Fulk would check in at 6'5" or 6'6", good to see he's apparently a legit 6'8", hopefully Williams checks in at 6'6"-6'7".

Williams listed at 6'6" 237lbs

Rob Lewis said he was 6'5-6'6. Glad it was 6'6. Tried to tell people he's not a C but PF. The only one that was taller than I expected was Kwe Parker. Barnes had said he was 6'1 back in November so be 6'2 is a good surprise!

Hold up! These weights are way off from the new roster. Bone weighs 164, Bowden 183, Fulkerson 193!! Johnson 168! Parker at 6'2, 183 I can really see him playing on the wing.

I think he'll possibly see minutes at the 5, doesn't mean he's a 5 is more telling about the roster makeup. Evans or Williams will have to play some 5, unless they plan on putting Fulk there which I don't see.

Weird, I copied that straight from the roster when I posted it.

I saw that. Surprised me a bit. I thought he was a legit 6'7"-6'8". He should grow another inch or two by his senior season though hopefully.

Seems like many on here thought he was only 6'4"-6'5", I was glad to see the 6'6" since we know how Barnes measurements typically go.

What makes you think an 18-19 year old kid is going to grow another inch or two by the time he's 21 or 22 years old? It isn't impossible, but that isn't the norm.

Not that it's a huge game changer, but Williams is a year ahead of his class, so he's only 16 or 17 currently. Still not likely, but definitely increases the chances of him growing anymore.

What? I've seen plenty of kids grow 1-2" in 3-4 years from a teenager through college. Maybe not 6"+ but 1-2" is nothing.

And I've seen plenty (probably exponentially more) that haven't grown a single inch in that time. Your phrasing ("he should grow another inch or two by his senior year") makes it sound like a foregone conclusion. It is more likely that he won't and you shouldn't expect it. It'd be great if he did though.

We have some of the most sensitive people on these forums that I've ever seen compared to other forums. I'm serious too. Doesn't matter what you say somebody has to disagree or point out something wrong with your posts. Beats all I've ever seen but I will carry on with my posts regardless.

Most health websites say 18 on average for a male, as I already stated Williams is a year ahead, so it's actually more likely he continues to grow than to just stop according to all the sources I've seen when you factor in his age. Now, how much remains the question, but I don't think it's accurate to say he's more likely to be done growing completely than it is to say he could still grow some.

Kyle Wiltjer from Gonzaga grew 6" between his senior season in high school & freshman in college coming into Kentucky. There are many others that have done the same.

chriss33 made such a big deal out of me saying 1-2" when it happens all the time. That's just being too sensitive like I said in my previous post. So many others act the same way on these forums. It's pitiful!

Would appear you're the over sensitive one here.
Wouldn't be much of a forum if every one agreed about everything. Be kinda boring , don't ya think.

Why am I the over-sensitive one? chriss33 made a big deal out of me saying that Grant Williams will grow 1-2" by his senior season. How does that make me the sensitive one buddy?

It was the way he put it. Sounded & came off smart & sensitive like so many others on here. It's all good. I'm a big boy. No hard feelings.

I can forgive & forget really fast. He probably didn't mean anything by the way he put it but it came off to me that way. Thanks!

Feel free to carry on with those posts, but the idea that you, of all posters, is calling anyone sensitive is laughable. Pot, meet kettle.

Sorry, but disagreeing with you doesn't equate to being sensitive. It's called a differing opinion.
