Of course. The refs were terrible and Memphis played as bad as they could. How could I forget.
I didn't blame the refs, quit your whining. But if you thought Memphis was playing good ball, you weren't watching.
I know you think Golden State just had a 2 game mini slump and Memphis' defense had nothing to do with it, but you're wrong. Last night was not a good effort by Memphis.
Didn't watch all of it truthfully, but saw the majority of the first half and the 3rd quarter. GS was just a lot more active on defense. Bogut finally played defense, and GS was more aggressive trying to get out on the break. They hit Memphis early and won, the 3/4 were probably close or in Memphis's favor.
I'm not a fan of either teams. I made my prediction after game 1. It's obviously wrong. I hope every series goes to game 7. I simply thought GS would be ready to play it's best which obviously Memphis is doing a good job (at least in game 2 and 3) of stopping.
I'm sleepy and grumpy after staying up late to watch that **** show. I've never said Memphis should win the series or that they're the more talented team.
It's just super annoying that after half a decade of this style of play, they still don't get credit for what they accomplish. Because they don't have a flashy play style, it's assumed every good team that loses to Memphis is just having an off night. After 92 games holding opponents to 94 ppg, it's not a fluke.
Memphis has always had games like Gm 1 and Gm 4, but that doesn't mean that they got lucky in Games 2 and 3.
