For sure. I hate to judge someone off the way I perceive their public persona but he seems so incredibly fake to me. I kinda hate Kobe the player, mostly because he's a Laker, but I can't stand him personally.

Hahaha I'm too young to remember this. I just remember it being a cool name for basketball cards.

My favorite player when I was really young was Penny.

After that, Kidd and Shaq.

Not sure whp else.

I could see why people would say it but he's never been connected to it and I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt. I know some fans around baseball assume so just because of some the mashers the Astros had brought in. Caminiti? Idk.

I don't take it personally because I've heard it plenty. Still, I've never seen anything that actually connects him to it. Plus, he and Biggio are insanely close and I don't think Biggio is a guy who would use steroids or be okay with Bags using them. That's only a guess, I really have no idea. Alex seemed to like a nice young man when he was on the Mariners. Look how that turned out. Beats me but Bags is my favorite player so I'll never bag on him. Har har.

Speaking of "cheaters" in baseball, I'm all for Rose to the Hall of Fame.

It's not really cheating if you're betting on yourself. It's called winning.

He was only betting on the Reds, right? If so, then yeah... he should be in the hall imo. Screw the integrity of baseball. As far as I'm concerned, it has none. Ah-ha.

I agree he should be. So should Bonds IMO. Mark and Sammy not so much.

I'm okay with Bonds not going. But he is the home run leader and he wouldn't be the first steroid user in the hall.


And yeah, I obviously hate McGwire and Sosa as an Astros fan. Plus, I had to endure living 4 hours from Chicago and 5 hours from St. Louis and being that we have no pro teams in my state, those two are easily the most liked teams by people I knew.

Not much of an issue now that they're in AL West. Still think the Diamondbacks made more sense but whatevs. They actually won a title in a shorter period of time. So, that alone makes them better than the Astros or something. They'd only been the league what, like 11 years when the Astros moved?
