2015 NBA Finals Thread

You don't like anything that refutes your viewpoint. Show me an article. I'll enjoy it.

Not good with sarcasm huh? It talked about 5 possessions out of what 60+ that Curry was involved in? I'm sold cause I thought Delly stopped him every single possession. Way to prove me wrong.

Just for you buddy. Cause I can watch a game and formulate an opinion, I don't need numbers or articles to tell me how to think.

Yet you somehow think Irving did a better job than Dellevadova. Curry had an abysmal 7 quarter stretch with Dellevadova as his primary defender and while I think Kyrie did a good job in game one, he didn't play to the level that Matthew has for the last two.

Explains why he uses stats as his crutch.

You mean this as an insult, but I can own it.

The reason I use stats as a crutch is I am aware of recent revelations about how the human mind works. There are people winning nobel prizes right now saying your eyes lie to you.

You can say your expertise is above what science is finding out about our brains, but saying it doesn't make it so.

Not sure if serious. So you kept up with KIs steals, blocks and rebounds in your head all game? I mean since your analysis was based on what you saw for once.

No. I thought he played great defense. I remembered the 2 phenomenal blocks, I remembered he had some steals, and a friend also said he played great D. All those factors probably had a role in entrenching the idea in my mind. I don't think I looked at his stat line until today.

I would like to see a replay of Game 3 Curry shots. I missed the first quarter and a half, and apparently Delly was stonewalling him? Curry was torching them late. I tried to pay special attention to what was going on when Curry missed, and the only one that stands out is one where Mosgov made the stop at the top of the key because Curry left Delly at the 3 point line.

Of course, this means nothing, because I remember it only because it confirms my bias that it's team D (I had this conversation starting sunday night with My Lakers friend).

So you are saying you eyes are lying to you about Kyrie and Delly. Glad that's out of the way.

Here we go again. I don't know how many times or how simply I need to say my stance on numbers, before it sinks into that big Brendan Fraiser head of yours. I can explain it one more time in slow motion if you wish.

It is hard for me to say lebron is playing out of this world right now.

He has the ball in his hands almost every possession.

When u have the ball in your possession every time down the floor you should have a ton of stats aka Chris Paul & Rajon Rondo.

Check NBAtv I'm sure it will replay on there.
