2014 Damn NBA Playoffs Thread

Not saying it's the only reason, but level of competition does factor some. Grizz, Clippers, Spurs vs Bobcats, Nets, and Pacers is pretty lopsided.

Except when you look at what those teams have to defend a SF, I would say it's pretty even.

And for fun, if I can have guys play anywhere:

Lebron
Jordan
Durant
Garnett
Shaq

Jordan, a 6' 6" strong 2-guard would be the most undersized guy in the lineup.

Stockton $2
Jordan $5
Lebron $5
KG $1
Shaq $2

I didn't really take team chemistry into account, just the best team that I thought I could make for $15. I really wanted Duncan at power forward, but just couldn't afford him. I also think Shaq was the best value at $2.

I really think dropping LeBron for KD and upgrading to Duncan and Isaiah would be just as good of a team, if not better.

I just wanna know where Rodman and David Robinson are? I'll take Rodman at the 4 for $0, LOL.

You think Allen, Barnes, and Leonard are the same defensively as Pierce, MKG, and PG? Pierce and MKG are the worst 2 of the 6. Then factor in team help defense and it isn't close at all. Now throw in coaching for the opposing teams defense. You still think it's even?

I want to know who figured out the price tags.Timmy is the best PF of all time and Shaq is at least the second best center. Also Stockton>>> Zeke

I think MKG is a better defender than Barnes. Allen is a great defender, but he's only 6' 5".

He gave up 60 twice. Either way help defense and coaching makes a huge difference. Ftr 2 of the teams LBJ has played wouldn't have made the West playoffs. While the teams KD has played would have been the 1, 1, and 3 seed respectively in the east. The talent disparity isn't even arguable.

Clearly they are better teams, and you might be right about better help D but I don't think the difference in defense begins to explain Lebron shooting that much better.

When did I say that explains it? I said level of competition has to factor in some, and it does. The same way you mentioned KD shooting 35% more threes.
