I have done that repeatedly. I just kinda did in the Braves thread, but I wasn't too harsh, because those guys are pretty rational about things.

We have more commits than anybody, and don't get me wrong, that's awesome, but it inflates our recruiting ranking. Rankings mean absolutely nothing in May. WTF? 9 months until signing day peeps!

I think you guys don't give the recruiting forum enough credit:

We're bound to eventually drop a few spots, unless we grab some 5* players or simply sign a lot more guys than the other schools at the top, because of our * average. It's great to see us listed at #1, and I am very happy with this Class, but I don't consider us to really have the best Class at this point.

Well said. Love the short term pub we get for CURRENTLY having the #1 class. Our large number of 3 star kids will have us sliding back as other teams add commits. I'll take the positive vibe while we can get it.
