Not a bad looking prospect. Hopefully Martinez and Thigpen can get us some presence back in Alabama which we have had none since Sabin has been there.

I agree with you bro. Might want to be careful with too much Dooley bashing you might get dissed. Just a fair warning but I don't know what he was doing last year guess the poor boy knew he was on the way out.

I think with Butch Jones it is going to be hard to try to predict recruiting like we like to do over the years. Especially with all the offers he throws out there.

I think the many offers given by CBJ has to do with having to play catch up in recruiting. Offer lots of good players and some will stick. Numbers crunching can happen after guys show interest.

The one thing that I am excited about is, even though some of these players may be under the radar, this coaching staff seems like they know how to get the FULL POTENTIAL out of the players they recruit. This system has worked at two previous stops. I am all in. Sit back and just let the man work.

Its like Butch Jones said day one. He will leave no stone unturned as he looks for players to fill his roster.

"Nate Andrews, three-star wide receiver from Fairhope High School in Ala., was offered today by Tennessee. Coach Tommy Thigpen and coach John Jancek attended the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Classic. They offered Andrews after the game.

Andrews is currently committed to Minnesota. He committed last week. I think this offer definitely opens the door for the Volunteers. Andrews is one of the most underrated players in the state. He certainly proved that this week at practice and in the game. He played on both sides of the ball at receiver and safety. I assume Tennessee offered him as a safety.

Andrews is 6-foot, 195-pounds. He isn't the fastest player on the field. He just simply makes plays. He is the definition of a football player. A coach can plug him in just about anywhere and he is going to be successful. The first day they moved him to receiver he matched up against new Alabama commitment Jonathan Cook and won the 1-on-1 battle. He's just a gamer.

This is definitely an offer I like from Tennessee. I expected Andrews to have more offers than he does. This may open the door for others, but it also may lure him to Knoxville."
